Dell will start Monday vs. the Flames.
Dell surrendered three goals on 31 shots in the Sharks win in Edmonton last Thursday. Since their bye week, Dell has won three of his four starts while posting a 2.02 GAA and .935 SV% and is 7-4-0 with a 2.28 GAA and .928 SV% since January 1st. The 30-year-old is playing great and gets set to face the Flames for the second time in a week. He stopped 30 of 31 shots in a 3-1 win in Calgary last Tuesday.

They had a good push back shift up until the point that no one did anything to hammer home the point that they were pissed off and things were going to change. Kane with Tkachuk, Dillon with Backlund, it doesn’t matter. When you’re getting steamrolled in your own barn you don’t need some amazing reason and you definitely don’t need them to be as willing as you either. Be the bully and force it. Instead the Flames skate away laughing and chirping and then embarrass them the very next shift.
On that particular play Karlsson was brutal. Got spun around about three times in five seconds and whiffed on the puck about as many times.
Dell made some big saves but he is way too aggressive following the puck.
Way too much aimless stick checking, hoping to poke a puck off a stick and get a breakaway than disciplined, hard, consistent defense.

I would absolutely love to sit in on team meetings so I could at least try to understand what exactly they're attempting to accomplish out there. The mistakes they make would be laughable for a PeeWee team and these fucktards are playing at the highest level in the world?

Okay I absolutely respect the decision to drop the gloves with Lucic but if you have zero intention of actually fighting Lucic why even bother?

Not calling Lucic for the hit is a bogus non call. Clearly from behind and into the boards. Bad hit is license to turn the game ugly, bad hit plus bad call is all the more reason to turn it ugly.
