Ah spring! No wait! Summer Social! Aw phooey it's all anarchy up in here!
Nothing like getting a message from a Nurse friend of ours who saw us on June 13th, who said that she has tested positive for C-19 but it's not the dry cough related kind. She said for us to get tested to make sure we are C-19 free. (She is more prone to Sinus infections etc. And that her cough is more mucus-y).
Wife and I have no fever or symptoms unless you count allergies for sneezing. Breathing is good so far. I was tested back on May 18th for surgery and was negative. Our friend just wants to take the right precautions.
So now the wife and I await our Dr. to Authorize getting a test, cause apparently we can't go to a quick testing center unless we are showing symptoms.
Plus we don't want when the results come in, to get lost in shuffle.
So here is hoping A) we test negative of course and B) we can get it done like today!

Everyone came out negative, except for one patient. Which was really a puzzle, because none around him was positive, and he was asymptompatic. So he got retested, and came back as ... negative. But now the Contra Costa County requires everyone get re-tested.
I guess there's federal money on the table the county is eager to get their hands on.

Update - Our Doc Office said that the OC has a shortage of test kits and that they have been advised to test only those with symptoms. Last week they said they got a memo that basically "slapped their hands" for testing asymptomatic patients.
So their advice is to monitor ourselves for now and let them know if we should feel sick as well as self Q through 6-27. (Perfect (sarcastically) since we are hosting a B-day party for a total 7 people and 2 kids that day).
And yes the wife and I feel fine. We were trying to take precautions.
So the wife is seeing if we can just get tested at drive up location. Since all we wanted was an approval to get tested somewhere here in the OC. But apparently not! (And great, just as the numbers of cases get up to 10,000+ here!).

If you were in San Jose today the Sharks are hosting covid testing at the Tank and they're giving out Sharks and Baracuda gear with each test. Too bad it will take 48-72 hours for results. And too bad we couldn't get it earlier this week!
