Fuck California - edition N+1: I paid the registration fees for CA in mid-May and mid-June respectively. We left the motherfucking state on 07/31 . We are not eligible for a registration fee refund. Well maybe your state income tax and property tax in Columbus won't put you 3x the SALT limit like it would in California, and you'll actually be able to deduct your tax portion of that registration instead of just urinating in the ocean like us out here. Of course Trump is after DeWine now so could be you'll end up paying a special DeWine surcharge this year. And next year your taxes will probably go up 40% to start funding the bailouts of NY and CA pension arrears that Biden will be ecstatic to sign. |

I didn’t pay my California registration the year we left for that same reason. Same here when I moved my Denali to Texas. The registration had expired four months before I moved it out of State. You just can't trust the DMV to do anything right |

Hopefully the State won't after you for taxes owed while you lived and worked here the first part of the year. I've read that they are going after some residents that left the state |

Since it was just the wife and I this year, I smoked a couple Cornish game hens wrapped in bacon she made a small batch of lasagna and stuffing. And for dessert it was strawberry rhubarb pie. All very good but I know she was missing being with family. Hope everyone had a safe Thanksgiving and was in and locked down by the curfew. LOL  |

Dave Prowse, the British weightlifter-turned-actor who played Darth Vader in the original “Star Wars” trilogy, has died. He was 85.
Prowse died Saturday after a short illness, his agent Thomas Bowington said Sunday.
Born in Bristol, southwest England, in 1935, Prowse represented England in weightlifting at the Commonwealth Games in the 1950s before breaking into movies with roles that emphasized his commanding size, including Frankenstein’s monster in a pair of horror films.
