Read a rumour that seems to have some traction about the Sharks giving up picks/prospects for Dubnyk and Donato.
Count me as unimpressed and uninspired.

Begrudgingly I have to admit the VGK jerseys are pretty sharp and somehow use grey as a primary colour effectively.
Thankfully the leaked images of their third jersey show it to be hideous so I can smile about that.

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Kings have fired the employee who dresses as the hockey team’s mascot after an investigation into a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him earlier this year.
Tim Smith was fired Friday, the Kings said in a brief statement. The team declined further comment, citing the pending litigation.
Smith wore a 6-foot-4 lion suit and played Bailey, the Kings’ mascot, in his job as the team’s senior manager of game presentation and events. He had been employed by the Kings since 2007, the same year that the Bailey character debuted for the franchise.
Smith, the Kings and team owner AEG were sued by a former member of the Kings Ice Crew, which performs several functions for the team during home games at Staples Center and away from the arena.
The lawsuit alleged Smith verbally and physically harassed the woman and then fired her after she protested. A Kings team official persuaded her to return to the Ice Crew, but the lawsuit claims the harassment continued, and she eventually quit.
Smith was previously sued for harassment in 2017 by a man who alleged Smith grabbed his buttocks during an elevator ride. The lawsuit was settled in July 2018.

Read a rumour that seems to have some traction about the Sharks giving up picks/prospects for Dubnyk and Donato. Count me as unimpressed and uninspired. DW said today that he does not want to use picks to acquire another goalie. Also said he is looking to get one through FA or trade that has been a No. 1 before. Sounds promising unless it turns out to be Howard. At that point all will be lost lol. On another note EK65 is "allegedly" 100%. I really, really hope so.

from Steve Simmons of the Toronto Sun,
- Why would San Jose want Devan Dubnyk when the goalie market is flooded? What did their scouts see this season that no one else did?
I was wondering the same thing

I was wondering the same thing I don't see it either... I think it was Bough that said Nabby was charged with looking around the league to find the best fit. I'm willing to bet it was just a rumor/tire-kick with nothing else to it. DW said the same day he doesn't want to use draft picks for a trade if the FA fails.

I'd rather see DW throw money at good F/A than trade more picks (we don't have many to high in this draft) away.

Did anyone know the NHL Draft is Tuesday night? I didn't
from Mike G. Morreale of NHL.com,
The 2020 NHL Draft is guaranteed to be unlike any other.
The draft, which begins Tuesday (7 p.m. ET; NBCSN, SN, TVAS) when the first round is held, will be conducted virtually for the first time in its 58th year, with each team having staff members within its own draft room located in its local market. They'll be connected virtually and announce their picks via NHL Network within the allotted time limit....
Judd Brackett, director of amateur scouting for the Minnesota Wild, said they are ready to adjust.
"Unfortunately, we won't be able to get all our amateur staff together because of border closures and travel restrictions," Brackett said. "But we are going to have feeds and whether it's Zoom calls or Webex, we'll have the ability to have them front and center and available. Being able to have the visuals in the room, they are absolutely going to partake (in the process), even though they're not physically present."
It's the first time the draft will be held on days other than Friday, Saturday or Sunday since the 1994 NHL Draft, which took place on Tuesday, June 28, and Wednesday, June 29, at the Hartford Civic Center....
Center Quinton Byfield of Sudbury in the Ontario Hockey League, ranked No. 2 among North American skaters, could become the highest-selected Black player in NHL history, surpassing Evander Kane (2009 NHL Draft, Atlanta Thrashers) and Seth Jones (2013 NHL Draft, Nashville Predators), who each was a No. 4 pick.
Left wing Tim Stuetzle of Adler Mannheim in Deutsche Eishockey Liga, Germany's top professional league, is No. 1 in Central Scouting's final ranking of International skaters. He could become the highest-selected NHL draft pick born and trained in Germany, and it would be in the same year Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl became the first Germany-born player to win the Hart Trophy voted as NHL MVP.

Donato doesn’t really excite me but they were sorely lacking in scoring depth on the wings. Need Donato to be closer to second line production than third line. More Donskoi than Sorensen if you will.
Really hope Dubnyk isn’t the answer in net though.
