I would ha e no problem watching EK65 walk for nothing I would have a big problem seeing EK65 walking and Doug Wilson still being GM I agree with you 100%. I don’t even want DW JR. It’s time for a fresh outlook by somebody else

Sheesh does that look familiar to anyone? Hey wonder what all the people angry about Tim Peel and want the league to call it by the book only think about that? Pretty clear elbow to the head, pretty clear intent to injure. That’s a suspension right? What would Gabriel get or is it a different book for him?

The National Hockey League's Trade Deadline is on Monday, April 12 and teams will be making decisions on whether to buy or sell and decide which players can make the biggest difference and hold the greatest value. Marleau on the Move? Now second on the NHL's all-time games played list, Patrick Marleau said last week he wouldn't close the door on a move to a contender as he chases Gordie Howe's record of 1,767 games. Kevin Kurz of The Athletic listed five teams who could be interested in Marleau, who is signed for the league minimum of $700,000, ahead of the trade deadline. Marleau was traded by the Sharks to Pittsburgh for a conditional third-round pick last year, and Kurz lists the Penguins, Carolina Hurricanes, New York Islanders, Edmonton Oilers and Vegas Golden Knights as teams who could have interest this year. The 41-year-old has two goals and six points in 34 games this season, but an NHL scout told Kurz a team could still look to acquire Marleau for depth ahead of their playoff run. With 1,757 career games played, Marleau is just 10 games back of Howe's record and on track to break it in April. www.tsn.ca/countdown-to-tradecentre-will-the-florida-panthers-claim-shayne-gostisbehere-1.1616108

NHL SAN JOSE SHARKS Mar 23, 2021 Sharks' Marleau won't 'actively' seek trade San Jose Sharks forward Patrick Marleau won't be seeking a trade ahead of the April 12 deadline, but he also isn’t closing the door on a move should a contender come calling. He returned to San Jose on a one-year, $700,000 deal in October. “I wouldn’t actively maybe look for it, but if it does happen or it does come, or a team wants me, that’s something you have to seriously consider,” Marleau told Kevin Kurz of The Athletic. “Obviously, that’s still my goal, to win a Stanley Cup. He is on a lousy team and if not for the record and his standing with this team would have been benched. I dont see anyone taking him but who knows.

There is no way any shark is getting traded to Vegas for anything less than a 1st (not saying that is their real worth, just rivals). He was the same dumb bitch who tried making a story out of nothing saying Marleau was willing to waive his clause to LA and Rangers before he left for TOR. At the time everyone knew there wasn't ever going to be a trade with either team and that was Patty's way of saying no to a trade. Kurz has the same mentality that plagues all modern journalism, trying to sensationalize something out of nothing just to fabricate a story. Sorry... rant over.

How bad is Philly? Got trounced twice by the rival Rags and got routed by the AHL-level Sabres.

So... Leaving your feet to hit someone, then cross-check to the ribs of a bent over vulnerable player into the boards doesn't even get a penalty let alone fine/suspension but Mckinnon tosses a helmet at some one and that is seen as egregious by the league? What a joke.

from Kevin Kurz of The Athletic,
Sharkie hung from the rafters, 40 feet above the ice surface at San Jose Arena. He was helpless. He couldn’t go up, and feared an unexpected descent. It was March 12, 1999, and the San Jose Sharks’ beloved mascot was in trouble just before the game against the rival Red Wings was set to start. The man inside the costume was afraid of heights and while he dangled, his extremities numbed.
Fans watched in wonder, and maybe amusement. Broadcasters and reporters, high up in the arena, saw the spectacle at eye level. Players first joked about it, then worried he might plunge to his death. And inside the costume, Sharkie sweated and waited for help to arrive.
This is the tale of the harrowing 20 minutes that might have signaled the end of mascot-related stunts in sports arenas. Might have....
Randy Hahn, Sharks play-by-play announcer: You think at first that’s part of the routine, and then after awhile everybody’s waiting for him to finish with the routine, and it becomes apparent that he’s caught. He’s stuck. It was bizarre. I was working with Steve Konroyd, the former NHL defenseman at the time. Now we’re in two modes — first of all, you’re concerned that the guy’s going to fall, right? That’s the first concern, for his well-being. Then it became kind of apparent that he wasn’t going to fall, he was just stuck. Now we’ve got to keep talking about this, because we’re on the air live.
