WSH trades Vrana, Panik, a 1st round pick, a 2nd round pick to DET for Mantha.
What a move by Stevie Y. He slept all day and then swooped in and the end to net a big gain.
Don't hate the move for the Capitals either but they gave up a lot. Mantha is a big dude who doesn't mind getting his hands dirty and might be able to light it up surrounded by more skill. But Vrana seemed to be a very well liked guy in Washington and I don't know what it does to their cap.

I don’t have NHL network or center ice anymore so I’ve only seen one Sharks game all year. Little surprised they’re .500 with how bad their defensive stats are. I watch a lot of Hurricanes games...fun team to follow...Aho is very good. I also get the Caps, Rangers, and both Florida team’s with my cable package...weird, but I’ll take it.
