I just reviewed the Marchessault-Simek hits and I'm still bothered at the complete lack of response. Feels wrong to say that this team is soft because they're not really a team.
If they can't even stand up to a guy like Marchessault... I'm so sick and tired of this same old routine. They deserve to lose players to cheap shots if they're not gonna do anything about it.

His first move as GM was trading for Parker and assuring that incidents like Shelley-Stuart wouldn't happen anymore. Now it's guys like Marchessault running around on this team. |

Head Coach: Associate Coach: Sharks should show the clip of coach standing tall in that scrap, but they would just say that was the old NHL. It is true to some extent but you still have to stand up for yourself and your teammates. They fail over and over on this part of the game. |

You're right but are they so out of touch that they don't realize how bad it looks to everyone watching? Look at the comments on the video of the Simek hits. Everybody notices the lack of response and their opinion of it isn't 'so good for them for having discipline and not responding'. |

Its amazing the lack of chemistry thats been developed over this cursed season so far, can't even lock a pair of top 6 forwards together with consistent success.
Pavs was holding this thing together, and losing Jumbo was the last straw. Its not a team, its a pickup-game crew every night.
