Another back-to-back rivalry weekend, this time with the Ducks.
Deslauriers vs Gabriel would be a good tilt. Book it.

You'd love John Scott's comments on Gabriel. podcast? Yeah his most recent one he got after Gabriel for his remarks on Twitter or something. I get where Scott's coming from on it but he goes a little too far, Gabriel's just saying why he's here, not trying to act like he's the baddest guy in the league and I doubt he thinks he is either. Either way, I love this. Sharks finally woke up to what we all realized forever ago and brought Gabriel up to help change that. He fought the biggest villain the Sharks have going in Reaves, took on Clifford after Binnington acted a fool in the last game, and probably gonna go with the next rival's tough guy, Deslauriers tonight or tomorrow. With little else to cheer for (as cjelli pointed out) it's something to look forward to and a problem area that's gotten better, not worse. No Gabriel's never gonna be the toughest guy in the league or strike fear into the hearts of opponents but he will play hard and make other teams accountable for their actions. Forcing the other team to fight for a bad hit or indiscretions is better than not forcing them too and at nothing else, Gabriel's shown he will do that. For now, I'll take it.
