You know the Ducks are trash when the Sharks look good. Or good-ish. Hopefully it gives them some confidence going into Vegas, they are going to need it. They are finally getting their shit together, and (knock on wood) I don't want to jinx it but EK65 finally playing some pretty good hockey. Seems like the defense as a whole is getting sorted out finally. Both goalies have let in a softy here and there but have provided quality tending to make it to the playoffs (probably nothing get excited about once there) and the majority of goals is to be blamed on the team defense. |

Two wins against a rival feel good but in the big picture it doesn’t mean much. They’re a good rung or two behind VGK, STL, COL, and MIN. That being what it is, it would be better for them to finish as low as possible and secure the best draft position in the long run.
Also EK65 said he didn’t sign on for a rebuild so maybe if that happens he’ll force DW’s hand to deal him away.

EK65 contract is what will keep him in SJ unless DW takes back a bunch of garbage contracts to match. Oh it will show DW screw ups continue
