Most teams look dangerous every time they enter the zone, sharks if they’re lucky set up a sloppy cycle on the outsides, and get an unscreened shot off before they turn it over. 1st pp unit is almost always a mess, rarely looks dangerous at all. I feel like coaching on the offensive side is pretty much nonexistent.
They need to focus on blue collar goals, simplify game with pucks on net, men in front. But also work set plays in transition.
I keep seeing them make the same plays that never work, or good chances develop and it looks like they just don’t know what to do?

Half the time there is no one in front, Tender easily nabs it. The other half there is one shark in front of the tender but the rebound kicks out 15 feet right to a defender or a defender makes it to the puck uncontested. That 3 on 1 last night is a prime example of your last point. Should have been an easy win to a depleted blues with a cracked goalie. |
