So much for holding a lead Ive been saying it for a the past couple seasons. Sharks cannot hold the lead. The make up of the team just cannot do it, every time they try to go into a trap, hold the line game they blow it. At this point I don't care that they are not making the playoffs... DW should trade for Glendening in DET and pull the same thing Kris Draper did at the last couple of seasons in his career. Win the face off and immediately skate to the bench just so the sharks can win a GODDAMN FACE OFF!

Gabriel did a skate bye (ala Hansen Brothers) on McDerrmitt before last nights game started. I think that is one of the reasons for the fine. Which is a total horseshit move by the NHL

Wasn't it just during the last playoffs (granted last two seasons melted together) that in the same fashion as last night in warmups the opposing team player tapped the goalie on the leg pad? I don't recall anything happening

Gabriel's got four fights now and making a name as a guy who'll do anything to stick. The wussified NHL doesn't like that.

MacDermid went over the red line right in front of Gabriel, baiting him no doubt. Gabriel took it but what else is he gonna do? Just stand there?
Nope, you give him a shot and drop the gloves first chance you get. No harm, no foul.
Serious question for the NHL, if a guy skates right into the other team's warmup and takes a shot on net, is he the instigator of trouble or the other team when they respond?
If I'm Gabriel I'm doing exactly what MacDermid did tomorrow night. Maybe push it a little further just see what the NHL does.

I think it is also weird that the NHL would choose Gabriel of all people to "go after" since he is "pro-trans" (if that is what you call it?). I can appreciate the enthusiasm Gabriel is showing but for someone being a "fighter" he is not that good at it lol. Also kind of funny how that reprimand came out the game after Boog called out the NHL over the Marleau face-off penalty.

Not sure why Gabriel hates women's sports so much but since he does I give him the finger! Woke, poor quality player, part time punching bag.

He really lays into guys and they are clean hard hits. The Sharks really do lack that and now guys need to pay attention when he is on the ice. I will give him that.

I agree but with the caveat that a punching bag is better than nothing and that's what the Sharks have without Gabriel.
