This is about right:
Asked if his team needed more time to grieve the loss and recover, Tippett said: “First of all, you grieve when someone passes away. We lost a hockey game. We’re not grieving on anybody. We’re pissed off that we lost and we got to get back on the horse and get going here. If you feel sorry for yourself and you’re going to wallow around for a few days, then you’re going to be in trouble.”
Tippett said the Oilers played well in the game but beat themselves in a few situations, taking a poor penalty and failing to get it killed, then had a couple turnovers. “That is on us. But we can go back and play well again. There’s no reason why we can’t play well and win.”
As Hall-of-Fame goalie Ken Dryden once said of Scotty Bowman, the job of the coach was to kick away every crutch that his team might have for losing. Tippett did just that this morning.

Shut the fuck up Pierre McGuire. My Goc that guy sucks more pittsburg ass than any team I've ever seen I agree 100%. McGuire got a Stanley Cup ring as Assit coach for Pittsburgh, his job was to pick up the practice pucks and wash Mario Lemieux car. |

Lot of tears shed at Sportsnet today, no more Matthews-McDavid second round.
Toronto is obviously a better built team than Edmonton but I wouldn’t be looking past the Jets if I were the Leafs.
