Reaves was assessed a match penalty for 'intent to injure' and ejected from the game. Commissioner Bettman heard Kadriās appeal of the original decision, assessed May 21, at a hearing on May 27.
The incident occurred at 6:26 of the third period. Kadri was assessed a match penalty for illegal check to the head.

I though the league and everyone else unanimously declared the āSharks precedentā wherein LV does not get a penalty when they go all Hanson Brothers and gang up to cause a serious injury to an opponent. |

I'm so tired of today's NHL, the media, and it's softcore fans. Everyone tunes in to see the rough stuff, watch the violence, but hey, let's all pretend that we're disgusted by it and want it gone even though half the time it's the only sign of a pulse in a freaking game.
