Last nights game got a bit chippy. Terrible missed two many men on the ice call as TB scored a goal. Dont know how the refs missed that. Vert quick face off after the goal limited the NYI ability to challenge. Edit: Coach cant challenge this. You would think 7 men on the ice would be clear but it is a miss on the refs. Why does the league not allow coaches challenge on this? I think they can challenge now, like they can challenge hand passes etc. The amendment was there after Sharks' scored via hand pass vs Colorado. |

I heard the Islanders are going to play 5 guys in the defensive zone, 3 guys in the neutral zone, then the rest in the offensive zone. If the "war" room can "whistle" the play dead at anytime, then why would they not intervene on a blown call like that. With the game getting faster, the refs could use the help of the review. Especially when it is the only game on in the freaking Stanley Cup playoffs. |

These refs couldn’t ref a beer league. Players get suspended for bad hits, refs nothing happens to them when they miss call that were so obvious. |

That Fleury misplay brought me back to the meltdown he had against the Isles back in the 2013 playoffs. Had an awesome game on Long Island New York won 6-5.
