Which isn't bad because they're paying about 80M to have guys not really play it either.

I really do enjoy Viel's game, can throw em when needed, but physical grinder. I'd bet the NHL must have told DW that Babriel stays in the Cuda. If he could have toned it down a bit, he didn't have to fight someone (And he wasn't really good at it) every 5 minutes. Just play a physical game and answer the bell when the situation arrises. 

Thats why I've been saying all season, if the sharks are gonna loose, might as well make the other team hurt for it (physically, not intentional injury).

I didn't think any of Gabriel's fights were unneeded or put the team at a disadvantage, he just answered the bell and tried to get things going.  He wasn't the best fighter out there but he held his own against everyone he fought and was a good hitter.  He was banished after that major penalty against Arizona, which was a bad call.  I feel like the team just turned on him at the first sign of something bad which is a bad look when you call up a guy to do the job he does.

I like Viel too.  He could be a future contributor as a fourth line energy guy.

I agree with the last part but it's a mindset of being hard to play against that the Sharks have simply never had since Doug Wilson took over. Which is pretty funny, because that was the first thing he said and acted on when he became a GM.

Sharks are hanging in the 4-3
