I know the draft rules are complex, but does anybody know which players the Sharks don't have to protect, but are exempt from selection?

I know the draft rules are complex, but does anybody know which players the Sharks don't have to protect, but are exempt from selection? Nothing will be decided until after the playoffs. Maybe the NHL will have an announcment before then but no use in taking away from the excitement of the playoffs |

I read that Vegas is exempt from putting players in the expansion draft. Another Bettman gift

i believe Burns can be drafted, so do it Kraken! No. The Big Three Defensive mistakes of DW all have some sort of NMC/NTC.
Right now Kevin Labanc is the ideal draft target with no clause and a 4x4.725 contract. Given the teams have to expose 2f/1d/1gf it looks like right now Meier, Labanc, Simek and Korenar, unless someone else waives.
However, Hasso needs to tell the team that everyone has to waive their clause, and the one who does not, sits in the press box through the end of the contract.
