During the Passover, Jews don't eat bread and avoid it at all costs, but the Labour Party puts a juicy loaf right in the middle of their postcard. I get that they made a mistake about specific religious preferences/practices...but I don’t necessarily see that as anti-semitism, just cluelessness. That's one helluva mistake. |

Looks like they confused it with Christen communion. I also didn’t know that Jews avoided bread at Passover...and although I’m no expert on world religions, theres no bigger defender of Israel than me. If they did it on purpose, then thats obviously not okay. |

The avoidance of bread, or any gluten-containing fermented foods is very strict for Passover. It's much stricter than the regular kosher: if there's 1 part of non-kosher food mixed in 60 parts of kosher, the food still remains kosher; for Passover any detectable ratio disqualifies the food. You should see the spring cleanings ultraorthodox Jews perform before each Passover

Had a Texas style Patty Melt tonight. Good beer too
When Patrick Marleau misses an open net against Dallas Stars.
I grilled lamb chops this afternoon and tried some new (or newly packaged) Lagunitas ale. Didn't like the beer, too much hops, but the chops were great. |

Ahhhh, just scooped up 4 tickets to see 'Loverboy' at Alameda County Fair, June 21st. Loverboy? What a pathetic old rocker I am.  and if that's not nostalgic enough, also got tickets to see 'Styx' at Wente Vineyards, July 30th. So I'll be time travelin back to the 1980's twice this summer!. |
