Update: wasn’t a strike. She had a 104 fever and the beginnings of pneumonia. They got the fever to break late last night but she will be there a few days. She was pissed until I found the NBC sports network so shecan watch the Sharks tonight.

Good news.

I hope she enjoys the game tonight! Wait... she's not an Avs fan, right? 😝

SAP Center Announcement In an ongoing effort to ensure the safety of all event attendees, SAP Center Management continuously reviews entertainment industry standards and venue best practices both in the Bay Area and across North America. Of great importance to us, and second only to your safety, is your guest experience while attending SAP Center events. After thorough review of other venues’ policies as related to specific bag requirements and the positive impact they have had on guests, SAP Center at San Jose will officially implement a Clear Bag Policy effective July 1, 2019. The policy will be enforced at all arena events including concerts, family shows, and sporting events including Sharks and Barracuda games and will require that all bags entering SAP Center be clear and no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”. Clutches with wrist or shoulder straps will also be permitted provided they are no larger than 5” x 8”. In addition to furthering SAP Center’s reputation as one of the safest venues to enjoy world-class entertainment, we are confident that the clear bag policy will improve your overall experience by expediting your entry into the building at all events by reducing line length and wait time. We put this confidence to the test through the enforcement of our Clear Bag Policy at this past Thursday’s Ariana Grande’s Sweetener World Tour and are pleased to share that we experienced tremendous success. Though our first experience with the policy was a success, we recognize that this policy will take some adjustment for our guests. To aid in the transition of the evolving security policy, SAP Center will provide guests an option to check any non-compliant bag for $5.00. Additional details on the new Clear Bag Policy can be found here and in the image displaying both approved and non-approved bags below.

... To aid in the transition of the evolving security policy, SAP Center will provide guests an option to check any non-compliant bag for $5.00. That should read, "To aid in improving SAP Center's bottom line, we will be charging you $5 per bag..."

Heading down to a shelter in Patterson shortly to pick up the dog we adopted yesterday. A Goldie/some kind of hound mix. Hoping to turn him around, he had some shitty owners previously.😕 He seemed to respond to me well yesterday even in a distraction-filled environment. We'll see...

My neighbors adopted an abused Golden. It was so skittish and shy when they first got him and now he is the most confident, happy and well behaved dog in the neighborhood.

You get back what you put in when it comes to dogs. With the exception of love, they give that despite what you do.

This will make security even slower when someone shows with a backpack/purse which is non-compliant then argues with the “security” staff about getting back in line and the $5 locker for their stuff (which will also be an understaffed line and only exist at one arena entrance). It’s been like this the last couple years at sounders matches (except the team did not provide lockers - those are privately provided). TRO
