Hi, friends! Back to the old name, since MLB doesn't rule this roost. Hey, Mk! Welcome back to your roots. I am able to drop the trailing “1” from Badger that was added when the NHL decided they needed to consolidate all the individual team sites. I procrastinated on the Pat Run. I feel shame. I shall jog to a bar of your chosing on run day if necessary to pay my penance. |

Hey all. Thanks for starting this back up. Hello John, glad to see you here. If you didn't know the NHL told the teams they were dropping support for them and it up to the individual team to keep it going. Apparently those cheap bastards in San Jose decide to save some money so they could afford Erik Karlsson next season. Oh well Seeing John here upon sign up was about as good as it gets. Simply as I know he's not on Facebook and wasn't as tied into the rest of you folks. Glad we snagged his number on this one. Now I'm worried about our crazy Swede Matthias. |

Then usually onto the pool and bar to cool off. |

So, cjellika's spelling bee journey came to a grinding halt yesterday at the County competition. She was doing very well, and then the nerves got the better of her, she failed three words almost in a row, and crashed out at 14 out of about 120. Top 10 go to the Oral stage for the single ticket to the Nationals at Washington, DC. She was devastated at first, but our friends, who were visiting us over the weekend, told her, 'You managed to beat half a hundred of robots, it's just there were 13 more left standing.' mrs. cjelli, who was there with her all the time indeed said that the majority of the kids should be in immediate attention of the social workers; one of the parents told her the kid was made to write each word in the bee dictionary (several hundreds) fifty times, and was practicing at least two hours every day.
Naturally, these kids have no clue what the spelled words are meaning, and the whole original purpose of the Bee has been defeated and needs to be rethought.
However, as the dust and the fodder had settled, and the tears had dried, cjellika said: 'Well, I've got one more shot in the 8th grade. Let's plan for going to DC in 2020 instead!' What an attitude.

So get this, someone has been using our house in front of our house. yes I have the RING, but usually it only detected people coming up on the porch. Old neighbor called me last week to ask if we had gardeners, I said no we don't. She said, then someone is using your garden hose!
(great I think to myself, we have riff-raff homeless in the area and drug addicts that get drugs across the street).
Friday night while out to dinner, we i get a notification and though not clear, I see this dude's (could've been a girl too) head pop out turning our water on and using our hose. The time had passed so I couldn't yell through the app plus out to dinner.
Wife wants to sell our house and get a different house closer to work. But that could take some time. (she was pissed when I showed her the footage).
So yesterday about noon, we hear some water running from our front. I head to the kitchen window and look out and sure as shit there is a homeless chick using the house.
I bust open the door and go WTF!? as she wash hosing off her crotch through her clothes. I was yelling at her, telling her, "you want me to call the police?!" I got you on camera lady!
She shields her face and attempts to run back to her stuff at the corner sidewalk and then runs away.
I freaked her out that's for sure.
So now wife even more motivated to move since the neighborhood is not all that cracked up to be!

Wow. Hooch, put a sign near the water hose in english & spanish: - "Warning, contaminated water - extreme toxic risk." Or, "Smile, you're on video right now!" Boom!
Our first house was on a very busy street in Berkeley, we had our hose used and left on, plants chopped down, ice cream finger painted on our front door a few times. Weird hood.

Believe me I want to, but wife doesn't want to be farther away from her parents (currently they are in Havasu and I want to move to say Washington State or Oregon). But I have roughly 10 to 15 years to go to retire from the school district. So that is what kind of stops that. Just met a friend on Saturday, someone I haven't seen for some fifteen years at least. He moved to Scottsdale and is very happy. I guess you need to follow his and Marbles' steps as well.
WA and OR are going the same bananas California does.
