Comcast internet is the fastest and should put ATT to shame. With that said, they are cunts. That's where I'm leaning. Keep direct TV and dump their phone and internet service for Xfinity. My Daughter has a spare Fire stick so I can watch all the movies I want and eventually I'll dump Direct TV too That’s the combination I have had for a long time. I worked with some folks who bet their careers on Satellite TV so I’ve always been partial to it. DirecTV is definitely better than Dish. Comcast is the only high speed internet option where I live, and many neighbors who have their TV Package bitch a lot about frequent pixelated images.

The more I looked at it none of the other TV providers have the programming direct TV has. So i'll dump AT&T and move on. Besides their internet speeds suck for $70 a mnoth

Memorial Day has always been important to my family. I lost a Vietnam combat veteran this year and my thoughts will be with him as well as all those that gave all. So many people take for granted freedom but it is not free. Sacrifice is the word that comes to mind. Thanks to all our vets.

Peace be given to our ultimate givers. watched a PBS Memorial Day broadcast this eve from DC, saluted US Vets from many wars, singers, etc. Vietnam vets seemed most prominent, their stories amazing and touching. Host said only one-third of Americans today can even remember the Vietnam era. That means 2/3's of Americans today have learned about Vietnam through a high school textbook. Or the Ken Burns series if they're lucky. wow.

Bill Buckner, the former Boston Red Sox first baseman who gained notoriety for a fielding error during the 1986 World Series, has died, his wife told ESPN.

My two brothers served during Vietnam and father and uncle served in WW II. Our small community lost a neighbor in Afghanistan who was serving with his brother. I thank them all for their service, and salute the ones who made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as their families.

We are about to be in the same boat once we leave our current house. My wife was like really dump Direct TV? I said yes. When I used to live in Irvine, I had Cox Communications and that was totally fine. No dish on new house, so if I can get a DVR box etc. and fast Internet Speed to stream the Fire TV and the um other apps I have on it, then we should be good to go! only shitty part is we have no idea when the close of escrow will exactly be since we have the buyers buying our current place and then us buying the other place. It's only 3 days in escrow and we are signing here. getting pdfs there. crazy! crazy! Wow. I had 1.5 months of escrow and the beginning was a mess. I couldn't imagine 3. You can't even process all of the reports. Why you guys moving? Upgrading or moving closer to work? We have DTV + Cox internet in the desert. The internet is very good. I expect their cable packages are comparable to Comcast. We have just had dishes on both houses so figured we'd go with DTV. My backup is actually to go with DTVs streaming service which I believe is like 35 a month and you can still DVR. When they start jerking us around I'm planning to switch. Moving to get closer to work and not to deal with homeless people washing themselves off with our garden hose in front of our house! (too long of story tell but I did catch a homeless woman doing this and scared the crap out of here!) but yeah currently we are 25 miles from work and the new place gets us under 10 miles to both our works and no need to take a friggin freeway! It we carpool it takes 45 to 50 minutes currently to get to work, however 1 hour to 90 minutes to get home at night! go figure!

After work, off to Vegas. Solo since wife is recovering a from a respiratory infection and she decided better to stay home and get better versus getting worse in Vegas.
Wonder what the future odds are on the Sharks to win the big shiny thingy?

I was retold a great story today, don't know if true.
A Western couple living in India had employed a local guy for daily cleaning. He did an excellent job, his pay was ... $1. He was quite happy and never asked for a raise.
The couple thought he was underpaid, and one day they gave him $2, and said that's his pay now.
The next day instead of that guy, another came, and also did an excellent job. When asked, where's the original guy, the new one replied: "Well, he's paying me $1 to do the job."

Is there anything that can fuck up your evening more than checking the mail when you get off work and seeing that AARP sent you a membership card?
