Speaking or warm, my mom said their power went out last night and then 20 hours later it came back on. Said they will have to through a lot of fridge stuff out. Their front yard view is basically the Santa Teresa Golf Course, so that whole block was down! |

We had one of those extended outages a couple years ago, and had to toss everything from the refrigerator. For the first time ever, I’m being tempted to get a generator, given how wonderful and reliable PG&E has become. |

This escrow BS is becoming taxing on us!
Our agent and lender totally great.
Who are agent has to deal with the (buyers agent) is even pissing him off!
Long story short they waited till the 17th day to do the house inspection on our current house. Agent lady had to go to texas cause her dad died (a week before the inspection).
They listed their requests and no way we can do what they want in 11 days.
So we we agreed to offer 1K off at closing (where we pay half and our agent pays half to help us out).
Yesterday they came back with they want 2K. (fuckers!)
So since we need the house we just bought and for this to work we need these 1st time buyers money (obviously), we agreed. So 1000 less at escrow and our agent will take the 1000 hit as well.
Then we have the termite fumigation tuesday, so we need do the hotel thing Mon-Thurs!

VICTORIA, British Columbia (FOX 13) - A police chief in Canada said he issued a pricey ticket to a driver who threw a lit cigarette out of his car window.
Victoria Police Chief Del Manak posted a photo of the $575 ticket after he said he witnessed the driver tossing the cigarette out of his vehicle on a highway in the city of Saanich.
The ticket was for a violation of British Columbia's Wildfire Act, which calls for stiff penalties for those who could potentially start a wildfire. In this instance, the law calls for a $575 fine for failing to extinguish a fire.
Manak tweeted, "575 reasons not to throw your lit cigarette out the car window."
When he asked the driver why he did it, Manak said the driver replied, "I didn't want my car to burn."
"Then don't smoke in your car," the police chief replied, according to his tweet.
