17th hole? I think the 9th? anyway closer to the hills! Can't be the 9th hole. Well, unless they built houses ON the course since I've been there. Bernal runs alongside 4 & 5. There are houses across from those holes. Bernal, IIRC, starts up the hill along 8. There didn't used to be houses there but it's been awhile since I've been down there. I got married at Santa Teresa so it's been on my shit list for some time!😝 |

Where apparently no one knows how to hit the ball, since they either land on their grass, haveve smashed their car windows at times, which the golf course only pays half and from that, tons of golf balls have been collected through the years. |

Wasn't me! I've never hit it OB on 4. I've left the yard on 17 a couple times though. Once on 16 but that one was on purpose. I wanted to chat with the sunbathing girls by the pool well to the right of the green. 😝 The course is past Santa Teresa Blvd. right before Bernal winds up into the hills. They have a decent bar in the clubhouse...just saying... Well now, that does seem promising. It was always one of my favorite spots on the course! |
