Why would you waive your clause to go from the panthers to Arizona scorched earth? He got strong armed somehow right? From what I can find out Florida wanted more cap space before free agency starts and Stralman was a cap casuality. They must have made made him a promise to rejoin the team in the front office after his career is over. Which is probably after the next season The 34-year-old Stralman played 38 games and scored three goals with six assists this past season for Florida. He carries a $5.4 million cap hit before his contract expires following the 2021-22 season.

Brenden Dillon traded to the Winnipeg Jets for two 2nd round picks. Washington must need the cap space for Ovie's next 15 year contract. Oy Vey

Of course this one is a head scratcher. But Vegas gonna Vegas I guess? 1. The only reason the Knights were NOT bounced in the first round.... Just was sent to Chicago lmao. 2. If Jones is gone, what is gonna replace him? 3. I read a rumor that Labanc, Gambrell and Simek are being shopped. Send all three and a conditional pick to Buf for Eichel? Also read that Kane is being shopped as well. While I loved his season last season... cancer is cancer? 4. I also read that Schmidt from Van was supposed to go to the Peg but wouldn't waive his clause, that is when Dillon was acquired. I would hope if DW could acquire Schmidt, that he could effectively play along side EK65 maybe?

The Vancouver Canucks have placed Braden Holtby on unconditional waivers with the intention of completing a buy out. The move will allow the veteran netminder to become an unrestricted free agent.
There's your new goalie Dougie

There's your new goalie Dougie I know he didn't have much help in Van, and I was hoping DW signed him before Van picked him up. Could be viable with the young Hill tandem.

Don’t really care. Anyone is a potential solution whereas Jones was a well-known problem. Schmidt played well on WSH and VGK, don’t know what happened last year but yes I think he’d be worth a flier. Although I know wonder with the talk of Meier and Labanc being shopped if DW is going into full-on tank mode.

Now for the fun. Jones gets signed somewhere. His SV% goes well above 900. Sharks D finally exposed for their portion of the problem. I think Jones has only been part of the issue here and that may soon get exposed.

Find a lefty that can play with Karlsson is a start because Vlassic is not it. Best thing Vlassic can do is go on LTIR unless he did some serious soul searching this summer.

What the hell happened. I think Dougie really has to look at the non-existent defense. It's like they check out when they are getting pressured and they get lost
