Your last sentence would make many think that he has not taken responsibility and he is not turning over a new leaf. He destroyed an otherwise okay-ish interview with the last part. I'd say the foreshadowing is the NHL is going to find nothing on his betting on his own games etc. If Kane did bet on the Sharks then he would be broke.. oops he is broke 🙄🤦 |

I didn’t get around to ordering center ice last year but always found a stream without a problem on bilasport or buffstream. Felt like college again when I watched everything on Justin tv and atdhe, but the free streams are so much nicer now.

Yeah they require a little finesse at times but hey, can't be mad at saving you hundreds of dollars a year by being free lol. |

Sounds like Merkley played a solid game tonight I turned it off at the beginning when they went down 2-0 lol. From what I saw and the other rookie game, I think Weatherby is going to make a strong case for the big club. I really hope Merkley works out eventually and gets some size. |

According to ESPN's Kevin Weekes, Zdeno Chara is returning to the New York Islanders on a one-year contract.
Chara, 44, began his career with the Islanders in 1997-98, spending four seasons with the team before getting traded to Ottawa in 2001 in a deal that sent Alexei Yashin to Long Island.
Chara played 55 of 56 games for Washington last season, recording two goals and 10 points in a reduced role for the team. Chara spent 14 years with the Boston Bruins before that, serving as captain for the entirety of his tenure while winning a Stanley Cup and a Norris Trophy.

The 2022 event will mark the 27th time the City of Montreal will host the NHL Draft, and the first time since 2009. The city was scheduled to host the 2020 NHL Draft, which was moved to a virtual event for health and safety precautions due to COVID-19.
The 2022 NHL Draft will be held over two days: Thursday, July 7 (Round 1, televised on Sportsnet, TVA Sports, ESPN or ESPN2) and Friday, July 8 (Rounds 2-7, television information to be announced when available). NHL club executives, scouts and coaches will be present on the NHL Draft floor while thousands of fans and hundreds of print, television and radio media are expected to attend.

The Detroit Red Wings play nine games in Canada this season, and as of now, they will be without one of their best players for all of them.
That is because Tyler Bertuzzi is the lone Red Wing who has opted not to get vaccinated for COVID-19, general manager Steve Yzerman said Wednesday on the eve of training camp.
“The league has worked on protocols for vaccinated and non-vaccinated players that all teams and players are to follow,” Yzerman said. “Tyler will follow the protocols for non-vaccinated players, most significant is as of now and the foreseeable future you can’t enter Canada unless you’re vaccinated. So that obviously will be an issue when we play Canadian teams.”
Yzerman said Bertuzzi will be on the ice Thursday when the team opens camp in Traverse City.
“It’s his decision. That’s the world we live in today,” Yzerman said. “We can’t force anyone to get vaccinated. I’m vaccinated, my family is vaccinated, I’ll leave it at that. Tyler has his reasons. I respect the fact he has a choice and has made that choice. We’re going to work within the league’s protocols.”
Yzerman said the protocols for Bertuzzi include wearing a mask on the ice for practices and distancing himself from others in the gym and at team facilities.

Whether it is Eichel or St. Louis’ Vladimir Tarasenko, there appears to be a lot of big-name players sitting on the trading block. Cap space could be a motivating factor in any deal. Heading into training camp, 10 teams were above the $81.5-million limit, meaning something will have to give between now and the start of the season. Of the teams having to make a move, look for Boston to be pretty active. The Bruins enter training camp with about $80-million in cap space — and that’s without them having a safety net in place for goalie Linus Ullmark or a second-line centre to replace David Krejci. They also have a forward in Jake DeBrusk, who has received interest in the past from Edmonton and Calgary, and who became even more expendable after the team signed Taylor Hall. A deal for San Jose’s Tomas Hertl would appear to make a lot of sense.

All the allegations from the ex-wife could very well be made up. As a couple of the other members on here have stated through experience: divorce is ugly. It does make you wonder why the allegations are coming 3-4 years later and only after the divorce is presented? I do hope the truth comes out for him (either guilty or not guilty). All the personal issues aside, all the gambling issues aside, if he is still a cancer to the team then he must be removed. His cap hit and simply not participating in camp does not help the sharks in any way. |

Time for the pain for Shane (Wright).
I’d look into trading Hertl and Meier. By the time this team is ready to win Hertl will be on the downside of his career and Meier will need a new contract. Don’t think you could get much for anyone else besides Ferraro.
I want to see Ozzy, Elkund, and Merkley get some playing time.

Yes ex-wives have all sorts of tricks in their playbook and abuse is a common one. Sometimes true sometimes not so much. In this case there are available witnesses that should be able to clear this up one way or another. |
