They should force the team to move to Houston and sell the team to the Houston Rockets owner. He's been begging for a NHL franchise since he bought the Rockets. And he's loaded so they wouldn't have to worry about a fly by night owner not having enough money to run a good/great franchise At what point does the BOG force Bettman's hand? Aren't they tired of getting dragged down by this franchise? It’s hard to admit they were wrong…

And now, in one of the most bizarre scenes yet at these COVID-affected games, two hockey teams took the ice Monday afternoon Beijing time, both fully masked. Canada’s women walloped their Russian counterparts 6-1, but that wasn’t the story of this preliminary round game. The game was delayed more than an hour because Canada had not received Russia’s COVID report and did not want to take the ice until that was in hand, according to a Toronto Sun report. The Russian hockey team had a recent outbreak of COVID, and several players spent time in isolation before being cleared. When the teams did take the ice, they did so wearing KN95 masks. The IOC apparently mandated the masks for “safety and security reasons.” By the third period, Russia had removed its masks, but Canada scored twice anyway.

If it was anywhere but China I would probably be glued to the TV for two weeks. They are committing genocide, they are directly responsible for the death of millions. The punishment? Host the Olympics.......sound familiar?...... Yeah Hitler Hosted the Olympics to show the World what a great Guy he was! Fucking COWARD! Not to get off track here, but the one thing I've never been able to wrap my head around is why the people in the concentration camps did band together and fight? I know there was promises of a better life but still.

How has nobody taken a 20 game suspension on this rat yet? Colin Campbell won't allow that to happen. He's Boston's protector in the League office

He's Boston's protector in the League office I'm sure their reasoning will be "bUt DiD hE gEt InJuReD?" And that is like arguing attempted murder deserves any less of a punishment because the person wasn't successful.

How has nobody taken a 20 game suspension on this rat yet? How is that not a suspendable offence?

How has nobody taken a 20 game suspension on this rat yet? How is that not a suspendable offence? It is if you use logic, precedence, or rationale. But if you cater to the Bruins because of the Jacobs’ family connection and sway with Bettman and to BOG, than you can pull this stuff and get off scot free.

from Chris Pinkert of the Blues website,
Craig Berube isn't going anywhere.
The St. Louis Blues locked up their head coach with a three-year contract extension on Wednesday afternoon.
"I've enjoyed working with (General Manager) Doug Armstrong and (Chairman) Tom Stillman, working with the coaching staff and training staff and all the players we have here," Berube told stlouisblues.com. "Why would I want to go anywhere else? I love it here."
The deal will keep Berube behind the Blues bench through the 2024-25 season.
Berube, 56, took over on Nov. 19, 2018 and is currently in his fourth season with the Blues. During his tenure, the team has posted a 133-72-30 regular-season record.

It should have been 10 games minimum as a repeat offender this season Yes.... 6 is an absolute crock of shit. I think anything less than 7 is not challengeable, but clearly with the intent to injure how is it not more? So what if he does challenge the suspension, then they just go: look at the intent to injure, you get the full sentence.
