Really wish Sharks traded Hertl for picks. Love the guy but he could have been a big part of the rebuild that this team needs.

Don’t know if it was posted but the Ducks also traded tough guy Deslauriers to the Wild for a third. They have Foligno and Greenway. Do they need more?

Don’t know if it was posted but the Ducks also traded tough guy Deslauriers to the Wild for a third. They have Foligno and Greenway. Do they need more? They’re second line guys though. Deslauriers gives them a guy to fight the battles they wouldn’t want Foligno to take (Greenway doesn’t really fight).

Maple Leafs are getting Giordano from the Kraken, and trading Dermott to Canucks to make room. Not sure what the return is on either trade.

It's trade deadline day. Will James Reimer remain with the Sharks or is he gone today

It's trade deadline day. Will James Reimer remain with the Sharks or is he gone today I think he would stay, he still has another year granted its at a decent cap hit. Unless a team wants to really overpay I suppose.

Good on ya Middleton, late round pick to sought-after commodity. Guess it’s Kahkonen-Hill going forward. Feel like trading Mids for the goalie of the future is a good ROI. I liked the grit he brought to the team but if you can’t replace that you got bigger problems.

I agree, I think loosing what he brings is something to be addressed, especially since he was the first person to really have chemistry with EK65. Who knows maybe he will sign with the sharks in the offseason. Kahkonen is a RFA after this season as well. Interesting.

I don’t think the sharks are any better next season as a result of these moves Yeah, I think it would take some tweaks in the offseason, players sent out and brought in coupled with some drafting and Eklund back with the big club.

The core will all be a year older. Eklund better learn to keep his head up or he will get blown up. He did not even manage to learn that in Sweden. Remember when teams went off on the donkey? Get ready for another donkey punch.
