Burns put Chabot into the boards rather meanly. Burns is mixing it up tonight/today

These wins are by comity like the entire team has bought into the system. Don't have to rely on Hertl or Meier to get a breakaway or anything crazy like that. I like it.

Was it my imagination or did Reimer give up some big fat rebounds. It seemed like (to me) he was having trouble controlling the puck. Or am I just being to critical?

He won and that's all I'm worried about. And he didn't give up a horrible goal at the wrong time like Jones did the last two years. Which I think is a huge change in the Sharks. Or maybe I'm wrong.

The one goal he did give up was all on EK65 pinching instead of reading the situation and buying time. This has been his pattern since being here. The good news is so far this season he is doing it less.

There seems to be a huge increase in confidence from the tenders out to the defense and at the forwards. The rebounds Reimer gave up, he also battled to get back into position and I think the rebounds may have seemed big is because Ott was sending everything with heat trying to force something through (like their only goal). Good battle win and they actually held a 1 goal lead unlike last season.

And no one player is carrying them.

And MTL/OTT were on the hunt to get out of their respective slumps, something that has plagued the sharks for the last few years, running into a team looking to end their skid and loosing too said team.
