Why did Ehlers take a run at Euklund to end the period While he is a pretty good player, he is kind of a dirty fuck. Its like he has Napoleon syndrome even though he is 6' tall but he doesn't weigh much.

They should be going after Ehlers for that hit, it was dirty. They should be going on the PP for that. It was clearly late.

I like the Hatakka kid. He's not afraid to get his nose dirty. Dubois doesn't know how to handle him

Hanging in barely, Sharks are hot though.
Losing to the Canucks, the Laffs and the Blows all in the same month, I don't know how much more I can take.:deadhorse

from Curts Pashelka of the Mercury News,
James Reimer said the scene around the Sharks’ dressing room in the hours before their game with the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday was both disorderly and also perhaps strangely peaceful.
“Honestly, it was a bit chaotic,” Reimer said. “But other guys were calm and kind of having fun with it. Obviously, it was kind of a wild scenario.”
The Sharks found out just hours ahead of Saturday’s game that coach Bob Boughner, four of their top six defensemen, two players from their top line, and two veteran depth forwards were all unavailable. All but one had been placed in the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol.
In their stead were five call-ups from the Barracuda, the Sharks’ AHL affiliate, including four who would be making their Sharks’ debut.
Despite the upheaval, the Sharks, with a patchwork lineup of savvy veterans and fresh-faced rookies, responded with one of their most inspired efforts of the last two-plus seasons.
Timo Meier scored a power-play goal at the 1:07 mark of overtime as the Sharks pulled out a 2-1 win over the Jets before an announced crowd of 11,845 at SAP Center.

Team feels different. They seem to stick together. They seem to like each other. That was a gutty, character, win that should never have happened. The Jets aren't world-beaters but they should've clean up last night and were probably half expecting the Sharks to lie down. Suffice to say that didn't happen.
Burns gets a lot of flack around he and he isn't the same player he was at his peak but he was top shelf last night, playing nearly half the game.

Let’s hope Wilson doesn’t let Kane come back & screw up the chemistry

I think it is evident in their goal celebrations, they are ecstatic for each other and everyone gets a hug. It is great to see!!! I agree, the Jets are second in the central and they have Hellebuyck who may not be having the best start but he is still a top goalie in the league without a doubt. Personally I love angry Burns. I wish he would make more appearances even if it means a dip in point production!

As soon as the things aren't going as expected (not necessarily difficult or bad, just not as expected) they sort of lose it.
