Right call by DeBoer to put Haley, Dillon, and Goodrow out to salt the game away. With Reaves gone, VGK don't have much toughness.
All in all, impressive performance tonight. Jones played well enough and the team in front did well. Vegas could've scored a few more, Sharks could've had about 3-6 more powerplays. I guess it evens out. Seems like a rivalry now. Can't wait for Friday.

Man, I know f all about the x’s and o’s of hockey but I feel like the Sharks played a pretty strong game tonight. I was hoping it would be this version of the Sharks that would show up for game one. Gotta love Pavs scoring the goal off his face and then returning with the full shield.

Pretty great. We had a chance to move down to lower bowl, but decided to stay. We have a good group of 365 around us.

I agree 100%. I've been on Reddit the past 5 months taking shit for calling Jones garbage. I appreciate the broadcasters flat out saying the sharks have the worst goaltending in the post season and that it wasn't even mediocre in the regular season. The Sharks subreddit is a bunch of Brodie fans. And Kurz. Like, he actually posts there. Kane gonna be making it rain on the nhl pa in this series. |
