So we can pencil in Gallant as a shameless liar as well... Had the tables been turned and the exact same play happens at the other end and Vegas gets fucked on the call, Gallant strokes out and dies right there behind the bench. His head would literally explode. What a load of shit... That being said, the bullshit call was not the deciding factor in the game. There were two decisions made. Vegas decided to show up, kick ass, and take the game. The Sharks decided to do the exact opposite. They were totally schooled, yet again, in playing playoff hockey. Jones has zero confidence and the Sharks play close to zero defense for the most part. They knew, ahead of time, just how hard Vegas would come in game two. They offered almost zero resistance. The loss was a prime example of a team failure, from the coaching staff down. The stick boy probably found a way to fuck up last night... I think the game 3 winner takes the series... I hate to say this and I may be, being a bit of a pessimist after last nights debacle, but I don't think the Sharks win another game in this series. It has that same feeling as the Kings reverse sweep series. The Sharks have problems with the Knights speed. Way too many odd man rushes, horrible Goalie play, special Teams are non existent. Not a winning recipe in the PO. Are the GK becoming the New England Patriots of Hockey? Nobody outside of Vegas likes them!!

Agree with all of that except the game three part. The refs blew a call, but that didn’t cost them the game.

I picked Vegas in five games in the pool. I hope I’m wrong, but anyone who seriously follows hockey can see how inconsistent (outright bad at times) the Sharks D and goaltending are. It’s not pessimistic to point out the obvious. Hopefully the Sharks testicles drop soon and they make a stand.

EK65 did not look good in the third. They over used him. Bad job there Pete. When you can't trust a dman in the playoffs at all (Ryan) he needs to be in the press box. Put in Heed.

Yea, who knows if Jones would have actually stopped that anyways. Respect to Cooch, a talent that also plays a blue collar game most of the time. Trainers advice for him to wear a goalie cup in game 3.

Agree with all of that except the game three part. The refs blew a call, but that didn’t cost them the game. That call was the turning point of the game. You cant say the sharks put up a goose egg for the rest of the game's PP or give up shorties after the momentum swing goes for vegas, had the sharks go ahead goal counted. Granted they had had half the game to come back again, but the wind was out of the sails at that point.

Granted they had had half the game to come back again, but the wind was out of the sails at that point. ^^ This. Couture was in a good place and did not interfere. Fleury came out of the crease. How does any sharks player know where he can be positioned in front of the net at any time after that call? Lots of goals are scored by being down in front screening the goalie, deflecting pucks, recovering rebounds, etc. But if you can't play in a place where you always have been able to play without getting some crackpot interference penalty and a goal called back the players will be more conservative - they won't stand as close and so they will not get the rebounds, deflections, etc. and they wont be as effective in screening the goalie. THAT is why the call changed the game. Let's not be naive, that ref knew what would happen after that call. Fun the way he did it so it couldn't be reviewed too, eh?

Hello another lost soul finding the new home! Hello there! The board disappearing right before playoffs was a bit surprising! I ended up on reddit, but the effort ratios on there skew towards lazy karma farmers. Glad to see the community back, even if I’m only here a few months out of the year. 😁 Reddit is for Sharks fans that doscovered them while Hertl was on the team. It's insane the shallow nature of their fandom and fanboyism.
