I don't know if someone's said this already but for all the talk about Vegas being fast and big, people skip over how quick they are with the sticks. Man it seems like the challenge every single stickhandle, pass, deke, shot, etc. Just smothering but in a very aggressive way.

To be fair to everyone (myself included), and I say this matter-of-fact, we have not seen the EK65 of the Ottawa Senators for more than a few weeks here in teal. The guy we're watching and have seen for most of this year is a shell of that guy. Whatever it is, emotional, professional, health, whatever, he is not the same player who won two Norris Trophies and dragged a mediocre Senators team on his back for most of his career. |

Fleury is not god, but with the convergence of players and sticks in the slot you can't get shit against him as a second opportunity. This is what kills me about the dropped game 2 and 3 to a lesser extent. He was weak and the Knights were beatable in those games, yet we pissed it away. |
