Johnny Hockey going to market too, the list is getting pretty crazy! Tomorrow should be fun. Unless you’re a sharks fan There are so many things I feel like the Sharks will do, like sign Aube-Kubel to a five year deal because he won the cup. Then I have to remind myself it’s not Wilson’s team anymore. Hard to shake that dread after the last few years. I am cautiously optimistic about Grier but he’s got a losing hand right now |

I could see Dallas make a run at Malkin. Stars window is about to close. All in now. Burns would be a mistake. They’re a solid defensive team and Burns thrived under DeBoer and having Pavs on the PP again would likely help Burns’ production. They’ll have a need for a QB with Klingberg’s departure. Shhhh, don't tell them that. Maybe we can throw in Vlasic with Burns as a two fer. |

Sharks-Hurricanes trade:
Brent Burns and Lane Pederson for Steven Lorentz, goalie prospect Eetu Makiniemi and a conditional 2023 3rd-round pick. Sharks are retaining 33 percent of Burns contract.
