I'd vote to auto-assign five on your list to the Cuda. like Reedy, weatherby & Raska

I saw this and was a bit surprised. Did he think he would be on the cuda? good riddance, maybe Chmelevski saw writing on the wall. Grier is paring down Wilson's long list of the 5'10' stickhandlers. all struggled to successfully muck in NHL corners. Might be easier to teach natural wall muckers how to generate more shots on goal (kunin, Lorentz). For the bottom six, anyways. sick of the Chmelevski, Balcers, Wiesblatt, Suomela, Goldobin types trying to make the Sharks with dazzling stickwork and highlight plays. Let's play mike Ricci type hockey on the bottom six again. and we still got Mario Ferraro yet to sign.

Why did they sign Hertl? They could have made the first true rebuild move last trade deadline......They could still move him but there were far more options then.

from Bob Duff of Detroit Hockey Now,
Bobby Ryan, who spent the 2020-21 NHL season with the Red Wings, spent Monday in a Nashville jail. Police ended up placing him under arrest for public intoxication at the Nashville International Airport.
According to reporting from ScoopNashville.com, Ryan was seen taking several items from an airport store without paying. Airport police were given notification of this, setting out searching for Ryan. Abandoning the stolen items on a counter, Ryan ended up entering Little Harpeth Brewing with the police in pursuit. He was found sitting at the bar, awaiting a drink he’d just ordered.
According to the police report, Ryan was suffering from the effects of extreme intoxication. He was non-compliant with the officers. Upon questioning, he couldn’t tell the police officers the date, the time of day, or in fact where he was. He also struggled to stand on his own feet.
With the store opting not to press charges, Ryan was taken into custody, facing charges of public intoxication. Following the standard eight-hour public intoxication hold, police were giving Ryanhis release, dropping all charges.

They signed Hertl because they were (and still somewhat are) under the delusion they can ice a competitive team. Should’ve been traded 100000%.

The Sharks are indeed a World Championship level team. We love self-criticism.

Sadly the Marleau jersey retirement (obvious as it is) might be the best move of the offseason.

Sharks GM Mike Grier is expected to announce several additions to his front office next week. Among them will be ...
- Chris Morehouse, recently the Rangers' director of North American scouting, will be San Jose's new director of amateur scouting.
- Tom Holy, recently Dallas' VP of communications, is joining SJ's hockey operations department in a support role. Holy worked for SJS from 2005-13.

NOT good news for Sharks at ALL.. a tipping point special teams guy joins a team you must play 7 times and try to crawl ahead of.. You’d think Klingberg deserved more than a 1 year deal. Head scratcher.
