No kidding. How many goals didn’t hit the goalie and squeeze through? Markstrom’s low glove was brutal and the Koskinen/Smith tandem was a sieve. |

Yeah I'm not sure which side is worse, Cal with 28 shots against and 6 goals or EDM 9 goals against with 48 shots between two goalies lol.

According to my eye test McDavid remains the best player in the league. He does things most every game that nobody else can do. His speed and ability to maneuver around top NHL talent is without rival. The team is top heavy and continues to lack D and goalie play and that will prevent them from hoisting the cup but he is a remarkable talent.

Don't get me wrong though, Mathews is a very very close second. Mathews has a better shot but McJesus has that maneuvering that is unmatched. I'd go out on the limb and say Mcdavid (and Leon) deserve to win but the rest of the oil don't. Especially Kane. |

Uncle Podger, given the limitations of his intellectual facilities, fails to understand: if he'd give a list of top 10 scorers in the league, and made that misspelling within the list (Kaprizov is ranked fifth), nobody would've paid any attention. However, he made Kirill Kaprizov the very subject of the conversation and then misspelled the name twice, inviting the ridicule. I am confident though, that assuming the aforementioned facilities are not going to improve in the near future, Uncle Podger is going to hang another picture (STR) for the next round of the mockery, and then respond with what he thinks is an insult by calling someone with a female (which is also, by the way, a male Armenian) name. Holy fuck, here we go... What you falter to comprehend is that we all make spelling and grammar mistakes everyday, to include this forum and you do not correct those mistakes. It is also hypocritical that you stated you wouldn't nit pick other people's grammar because its your 3rd language (weird flex but ok) and go on to point out a simple spelling mistake that no one cares about because the point was still comprehensible. I cannot believe that in your entire and vast expanse of intellectual prowess that you have not heard of the insult it is to be called a "Karen". It is not just a random female name, I assure you. So here is a little education. Here is the definition: Karen Middle aged woman, typically blonde, makes solutions to others' problems an inconvenience to her although she isn't even remotely affected. Karen sues the local city council after they installed a new STOP sign that hides the sun from her window for two minutes a day. The sign was installed after a school boy on his bicycle was hit by a speeding driver and died. Karen refuses to wear a face mask for her 5 minute trip to the supermarket during a pandemic. She harasses the workers, asks to see the manager and threatens to sue. A Karen gets the wrong end of the stick, believing to be the victim of any given situation due to an overly inflated sense of entitlement. Karens cannot be reasoned with, and often expose themselves to widespread ridicule due to outlandish behavior, usually leading to the explosion of a trivial issue into something unnecessarily large. This whole spat has been about you trying to convince, I suppose to anyone who will listen that you are so intellectually superior to everyone else and you continuously fail to perceive is that nobody cares. Please stop taking the internet so serious, because I assure you it is not. Now can we please get back on topic? Even a rebuttal to why maybe Kirill wont be traded and Minny can stay under the cap? Anything constructive is welcomed. One of the important thing for Uncle Podger to realize, even at this advanced stage of his life, is that spelling and grammar are different things. Uncle Podger was making claims on the very topic he couldn't spell. He actually started a topic he couldn't spell. He violated the sound advice quoted to him somewhere above in this thread. Yeah I feel ya, I assume he will be shelved until there is a series lead or until the final round. He is delicate goods trying to be delivered to the final round lol. Granted his "game" now is a little slower/grinder which I would think would be ideal for playoff hockey. Only problem now is, I'm not sure the come back cats can make it past this round. |

They haven't found the extra gear. When they turn it on, they're just as good as the Lightning or better. Lundell barely played and can't say the fourth line of Acciari-Hornqvist-Lomberg has done much outside of a couple energetic shifts. I think bringing the old man in to drag some guys into the game would be a good thing. You know he'll be well rested and fired up. Just doesn't make sense not to shuffle the deck here and didn't they bring Thornton in for this kind of thing? I'll be disappointed if Brunette doesn't dress him for G3. |

I think so too, he could be the lightning rod to bring the team together. With Reinhart down on the 3rd line, they need someone on that line to make something happen (Not saying Jumbo should be 3rd, but move personnel around). Brunette had the balls to sit Duclair last series, I don't think there is any harm in bringing in Jumbo. They were clicking on all cylinders when he was in at the end of the regular season (not the last game they got ragged with all the big boys sitting out). |

Thats good to hear, while it has been a few years since I played an actual game I remember appreciating the effort those goalies give (I wouldn't want to play the position) but at the same time I know we are not playing for lord Stanley but would still like to win sometimes lol. |
