Actually, when I think about the penalty on Pavs, Vegas came out cheap. Should've been 5 to Eakin and 2+2 to Stastny (double minor for drawing blood).

Guys, I gotta tell ya, after the 2nd intermission, I was depressed. Like most of you. Then Pavs got hurt, and I didn't think there was gonna be a penalty. I hadn't started drinking yet. Now was the time. I had stopped the recording of the game, and I was live, as I was most of this game. I come up, and it starts. I remember back to a time in the early 90's....but the exact game escapes me, was it a Kings game? or was it the Canadians? and a 5 minute was called and it turned the entire series, I make a mental note to investigate that tomorrow. Holy shit, goal #2 - yes, this is what happened back them, fuck something special might happen! NO! Do not think that way, you will get hurt worse. FUCK ME! Three all?! Now I know it's possible! Geezus Mary and Joseph we just went up 4-3, neighbors are scared, but nor as much as me! FUUU*UCK - there it is, 4-4, can't have anything nice (but a part of me says, wait - they climbed back from 3-1, this would make it sweeter) MOTHERFU=KER!!!! I'll be damned, there it is, the game that we have waited for! So yeah, at this point I'm a little drunk, and not able to sleep, and my neighbors who aren't hockey fans have all texted congrats to me because my voice is horse from yelling and the windows are all open because it's so warm tonight. we may never witness anything again as great as we saw tonight, but they did it. tonight, they did it. Foe Pavs, for us, for themselves - we know it can happen. It'll be tough with our injuries going forward, but when I mentioned this to my wife, she said yeah, but they might get them too. So good night my Shark friends, and lets keep the faith! It was an LA Kings game, but I don't remember who they were playing. Red Wings? HUGE late comeback with quick goals. A friend of mine who does not watch hockey was at the game but left right beforehand to "beat traffic" and didn't believe me when I called him. I give him shit about it still. Yep, found it this AM - St Louis vs Kings in '98, they were up 3-0, lost 4-3 after 4 straight PP Goals in mid third just like the Sharks. Was game #3, went down 3-0 and lost game 4 2-1 and was swept |

Eh, you already have a set of hockey fans saying the 5 was more than warranted. I think the call was just about right. Hell with a prolonged 5 on 3 Fleaury sees more of those shots coming in and we likely don't mount this thing. |

After his typical mid-game benching, Ryan had a pretty good game, particularly in OT where he had some solid shifts. Radil brainfarted his way out of the lineup...what did he have, four shifts maybe? Five tops?? This scared the shit out of me. On one shift, it was Braun and Ryan in OT. I looked over to my Buddy and said this might end badly. He did play ok though. |

Probably gonna get flamed for this...but no way Eakin should get a 5 minute major for a cross check. I’m good with the 2+2 due to the blood...and ultimately I think the Sharks were due for a break after getting screwed by the refs for most of the series so I’m obviously good with the outcome  If that penalty happens to the Sharks...we’re all pissed at how severe the call is. |

man oh man was I ever wrong!
Took wife out to sushi, since the restaurants she picked kept going out of business here in the OC (melting pot and now bonefish grill).
Had the sushi chefs find the game and watched the 1st period. Then Vegas is up 1. I was like man don't like our chances. Wife says you never know. I said the odds aren't good. So headed back home at intermission.
Had my black sharks shirt on, period 2 oof down by 2 now. I was like it's over. I'm about to change this game and watch something else.
Period 3 starts and I put away my sharks shirt and then with the 10 minutes to go, you all know the rest!
And my wife goes, see told you they could come back!
And I just gave smirky glare to her! lol.

Greatest Shark game of ALL-TIME. Unbelievable night at the Tank. I’m still buzzed this morning and have no voice.
I’ve been going to live sporting events now for 55 years, saw sharks first ever game in ‘91, saw all the SC ‘16 finals home games...
Life jolting hockey game, I will remember last nights events forever. Hockey is the greatest sport of all time. now have tickets for Friday’s Colorado opener!

He quietly found his way this season and earned four points in the five minute PP. did he not even take a rest? How can you get four points in a five minute major? |
