I was listening to NHL network on XM on my way to the airport this AM. The guy did not agree with the five minute major but said the sharks deserve to be in round two. Also for the day he gave Rask the 3rd Star LaBanc the 2nd and Goodrow the 1st.

Greatest Shark game of ALL-TIME. Unbelievable night at the Tank. I’m still buzzed this morning and have no voice. I’ve been going to live sporting events now for 55 years, saw sharks first ever game in ‘91, saw all the SC ‘16 finals home games... Life jolting hockey game, I will remember last nights events forever. Hockey is the greatest sport of all time. now have tickets for Friday’s Colorado opener! Greatest comeback, but not the greatest game. I'll still stick with the 4-2 against STL going into the finals, and 5-0 closeout of Nashville in the series before that one.

Actually, when I think about the penalty on Pavs, Vegas came out cheap. Should've been 5 to Eakin and 2+2 to Stastny (double minor for drawing blood). Probably gonna get flamed for this...but no way Eakin should get a 5 minute major for a cross check. I’m good with the 2+2 due to the blood...and ultimately I think the Sharks were due for a break after getting screwed by the refs for most of the series so I’m obviously good with the outcome If that penalty happens to the Sharks...we’re all pissed at how severe the call is. I guess you didn't see Meier get SPEARED in his Junk by Colin Miller in OT. or the call on Couture in game 2 for goaltender interfence when Fleury was out of the blue paint & flopping like a seal out of water... Read rule 59.5(I believe) Don Van Massenhoven head of officals explained it.. I know your a Sharks fan But these Vegas Fans got me pissed off, they think the game was invented in 2017. Peace to you

After his typical mid-game benching, Ryan had a pretty good game, particularly in OT where he had some solid shifts. Radil brainfarted his way out of the lineup...what did he have, four shifts maybe? Five tops?? Radil got 4 shifts. 2:36 in ice time.

Can someone help me find the highlights of the game with the Sharks announcers. I can't find them anywhere. On the Sharks 4th goal, you can't even here Gord Miller because the Tank was so fucking loud. streamable.com/325pyThanks for this. What an EPIC Comeback!!

I was arguing with a guy on reddit (3rd party hockey fan) who was adamant the call was not warranted and the refs threw the game. I basically agree with the above. A combination of a gray call that the refs went a bit over on though in a manner I would say is justified even if slightly controversial, and Karma for 5 games of refs bending over backwards. On top of that, responsibility for VGK letting in 4 goals in 5 minutes and the sharks manning the fuck up. Many seasons this call would not have impacted the game to this extent. And if the Sharks didn't earn it theyd be golfing qnd cleaning out lockers this week. So fuck the clowns. We earned round 2.

Peace to you Completely agree. In fact, Kane took a pretty blatant high hit in OT and Sorrenson was straight tripped going into the zone on the single shift prior to the final goal. Kane tripped to allow an icing against the sharks 2 minutes into game 6. I could fucking go on. The long dick of hockey Karma bends towards justice.

Need to skate 4 + 3 after these long OTs and beat up squad.

They were 0 for 4 before the 5 minute major. So Vegas gave up 4 power play goals in 4 minutes to a team that at that point was 4 for 29 on the power play in the series. I can see an argument for and against the major penalty. Pavelski hitting his head on the ice was a result of the cross-check causing him to fall backwards and then Stastny shoved him down resulting in a significant injury which would warrant 5 minutes. That being said, Pavelski's injury was more from Stastny's shoving him to the ground while off balance than the cross-check.

The Vegas board at HFBoards is full of rage against the refs, calling them "sharefs" et al. Quite a few Canuckles and Bruises chipping in as well. No decency.

Won't be surprised if they ship him out in the midseason.

Also, the audacity of Vegas complaining about reffing is off the charts...especially after you give up four goals...no one to blame but themselves. Love seeing whiners lose.

If it's San Jose's fault for allowing a goal on that joke of a GI "penalty" in game 2, it's Vegas' fault for allowing 4 on that major. You can't have it two ways. The picture in the post above says alot as well.

I noticed that JT and Reeves talked for a few seconds in the hand shake line...hopefully Reeves was apologizing for his comments in the press about JT. I would hope Reeves got tuned up about him (a guy no one will even remember played the game in a few years) saying classless crap about a guy who’s a first ballot HOF’r.

The picture in the post above says alot as well. Agree. I’m really curious about how/why Pavs is bleeding so much from inside the protected area of his helmet. I understand that a hard “contact” injury can break skin and that scalp injuries bleed a lot...but I can’t remember seeing someone bleed out of their helmet like that. I wish they’d give an update on his condition...sincerely concerned for his health. I assume a concussion at the minimum.

Doesn't land punches and is just strong enough to wrestle people down.
