It sounds weird to say but Pavelski shouldn't have the puck with time and space.
He's good at deflections and one-timers, not handling the puck or setting up the rush.

He's too slow to be effective in space. There's no threat because anybody can close the gap on him quickly if he chooses to hold onto the puck. |
