I wonder if the Sharks are waiting for Connor McDavid to become a free agent... Do it Mike!

The fans sure got their moneys worth last night. I'm sure not the outcome a majority there wanted though.

The Toronto Maple Leafs and General Manger Kyle Dubas have parted ways. The Maple Leafs offered Dubas a contract extension but were ultimately unable to come to a new agreement.

Being honest, it does feel like Dubas did everything he could to win with his core four guys up front. Upgraded the blueline, got experienced guys, tried to get harder to play against and gritty, overhauled the goaltending, etc, and nothing worked. I got the sense that he was (for lack of a better term) at his wits end after this season. That, coupled with another disappointing exit, and I felt like both sides weren't all-in so the only option left was to part ways. Saying that, I'm not the biggest fan of the guy and it makes the noise around Matthews that much louder, which for those of us who hate the Leafs, is pretty cool.

Austin Mathews has one more year on his contract. Do you think he might want out of Toronto and move West?

Not a clue what he wants but you know the Toronto media is gonna speculate about it until something happens, which probably makes it more likely to happen. I know he's always stated his desire to be a Leaf but being from out west, the constant disappointment, what he wants on his next contract (probably around 12.5M AAV and only 5 years or so), and now with Dubas leaving, it definitely makes you wonder how much he really wants to be there. There is a lot of ways it could go...

Maybe they can move to Reno? I know my kid up in Susanville would love that.

I looked up the FLA-CAR score and it was about 3/4 down the TSN homepage… But who is kidding who; there is zero national interest in these four teams. Nobody cares about any of this. Except the uniting loathing of Vegas winning it.

Fourteen periods of hockey and it’s 6-3 Panthers. Looks like it'll be no cup for the Wookie, but on the flip side I loved the fact that the Lakers and LaBum got swept.

Chances for reverse sweep is 2%
But hey, Adin Hill still has a shot and we sharks fans all remember his time in teal quite fondly right. And he plays for a team we all like

If my memory serves, DW gave up a 2nd for Hill, got a 5th back for him a short time later, now Hill gets a Shutout in game 3 on the road in the WCF and his team is up 3-0 in the series! The Sharks haven’t even sniffed the Playoffs; yet all Sharks Fans still get to suffer! Burns is still a turnover machine, that has cost the Canes a couple of games in this series alone, but watching Pavelski and his 120 goals since we got rid of him is still fun to watch. I have to say, that’s pretty impressive for a mid 30’s player who has Pee wee’s type speed and still producing like he is . I know he’s playing with a couple of young studs in Dallas, but still very impressive . I’m now a huge Floridia Fan! I hope the kick the shit out of Vegas!!!
