We were talking about THAT on the drive home from the game. just based on this one game, Vegas was constantly coming harder and faster at the Sharks than the Avs were tonight. Colorado isn't nearly as deep as Vegas. find ways to stop MacKinnon. How did Calgary go belly-up against those guys? But then we also remembered Calgary won game one in THEIR Avs series,4-0. Must be a sleeper hold the Avs try to lock in for game 2. worked against the flames. Curious now for Sunday's game 2. Labanc played a hell of a game E. Karlsson was VERY good at advancing the puck out of his zone. Thornton by far is greatest Shark ever. Jones was good tonight under pressure. Colorado played green kid, new Hobey Baker winner Cale Makar a TON. Straight out of College (U Mass) just earlier this month. 18 blueline minutes tonight in NHL round two? Wow. |

Funny thing. I turned on the TV last night and there was a hockey game on, and the Sharks were in it.
It's weird because for the last few weeks I kept seeing them out on a sheet of ice getting mugged, punched or slashed and always held by a bunch of goons from Las Vegas.
