Sharks will take Celebrini at the draft. Todd McLellan will become the Jackets coach. The link between the two loser teams remains strong!
Enjoy the offseason!

Grier traded the 14th and 42nd picks in this draft to BUF for pick #11.
Then he traded Burroughs to LAK for Grundstrom.

Honestly don’t think they see the difference, never have and probably never will until Celebrini gets cross checked in the face.

Can't and don't have a strong opinion on what they do at #11 but given the plethora of forward prospects and relative dearth on the same on the blueline I hope they jumped up to makes sure they get one of the top 6 D in the draft. Consensus definitely seems to be it falls off after those six guys. I'm guessing Yakemchuck is most likely to be available for SJ.

Friedman thinks they moved up to get Eiserman. He’s celebrini buddy and best shot in the draft but doesn’t seem wise based on all the prospect chatter I’ve seen.
I hope they got 11th to get one of their dman targets. Either way a very good player will drop out of top 10 and we’re there to clean it up

Sharks Draft Maclen Celebrini #1 Sharks Draft Sam Dickinson #11 Great and smart draft so far, for casual Fans it was hard to pass on Cole Eiserman but it was totally the right move even when we watch Eiserman score 40 goals a year for the next decade!!

Happy to see Celebrini finally putting on the teal. Dickinson looks like a solid pick as well. Seems like a more well-rounded player than Silayev, Yakemchuk, or Parekh who went ahead but we shall see if it was the better pick.

“Of all the top defencemen this year, [Dickinson] is probably the least risky pick,” said one scout. “He has great size, great mobility. Compared to some of the others [Levshunov, Buium and Parekh, in particular], his offensive ceiling might be more limited, but this kid is going to play in your top four for 15 years.” “Dickinson is a complete package,” added another. “He’s not the most physical guy; he’s not the most offensive; he doesn’t have the best shot, but he still gives you a LOT of everything. He’s such an easy guy to project as a complementary player on your top pair or the lead guy on your second pair.”

Everyone Grier's picked in 6' or taller, three listed at 6'3, two at 6'4. Clearly making a size a priority.

Who is that Julia Stumbaugh and why is her opinion of any value whatsoever? I'd say, putting everyone's top pick as notable indicates a template journalism.

It doesn’t feel wrong to have some optimism about where this team is headed. I’d say that’s a successful draft.

Her opinion matters because she gave the Sharks an A+. lol She gave all the other Teams some optimism! Like I said I don’t put a lot of stock into these grades, however I would be pissed if She gave the Sharks a “C” Mike Grier and the Sharks gave us a lot of optimism for the future for certain with this draft.

It’s so funny how every year you see GMs running around like crazy to sign deals they’ll regret in two years.

Sharks are signing Toffoli- 4 years @ 6M. Toffoli shown some great promise with LA, and had very decent stats everywhere he stayed, and he couldn't stay anywhere for more than a season and a half, despite that. Something is wrong there.

The Jackets have been very restrained.
The biggest item so far is Stamkos to Nashville, I guess.
