The calls against were pretty weak but with only 2 calls and the Sharks not fucking scoring on their own chances I can't really point the finger there.
Need to up the physicality and slow this team down.

There should've been a PS call on EK65, but other than that Grubauer had a lot of luck and the Sharks had a lot of slack.

Need to up the physicality and slow this team down. The refs missed that call on Karlson that would of gave the Sharks a 5-3 PP. What's going to come 1st, The World coming to the end or Hertl WINNING A Offensive zone faceoff on the PP. Loses it & the other team clears the puck & the Sharks lose time... |

So I wonder if during this glorious regular season finish stretch of 3-8-1, maybe more Barracuda should have played, thus giving PDB some more options than Gambrell, Haley and Radil. Such as Alex True or Jon Dahlen, or maybe Antti Suomela can finish the season on the same high note he started it?

Just got home from Shit The Bed Fest in San Jose. Always great to spend a bunch of time and money and have your team play hard for 10-15 minutes of a 60 minute game. Totally soft, pretty much lazy effort...they gave Colorado pretty much as much room as they wanted. Backed into their own virtually every time Colorado came through the neutral zone. Then, get totally hemmed in as per usual. For fuck's sake this team can be so fucking frustrating to watch. Say what you want about officiating, the Avs TOOK that game from the Sharks. Bitch slapping them in the process. Wimpy effort by Team Teal...

Stay Home next time jinx. J/K. I still feel like this series is ours. I'm not even concerned yet, which is very rare for me. Maybe it has something to do with the comeback against the Knights or because the Avalanche are a one line team and if we can shut them down we have a high probability of beating them. |

Haley wasn't the problem. Neither was Ryan. Yet, DeBoob gives regular minutes to the guys that didn't show up to play. There were a whole lot of other guys that were much shittier than Haley. By a large margin when you take into consideration what is expected.
DeBoob was outcoached yet again. I truly believe he's a tactical dimwit. The Avs took the game to the Sharks and they never adjusted. Well, other than the usual benching of Ryan and a 4th liner. Fucking brilliant coaching! I know! Let's let a bunch of guys that can skate faster than us skate through the neutral zone to build up more speed! Then, we'll all back up to the top of the circles and start the lunging poke check defense! When there's only two minutes left in the game, they'll be so very tired! Then, we attack!!! Fucking brilliant!!! Oh wait...
