I haven't read through the thread...did anybody see the absolute stupidity that led to the goal against? Puck goes out to the point and 3 guys, THREE, go out towards the Avs D. One of which was the center, Cooter. That's not his role. Shot gets through, Jones makes the save, puck pops up in the air and instead of gloving the puck out of danger, Burns totally whiffs on it. Another option for Burns would've been to tie up MacKinnon. Nope, I'll go for the "home run" and strike out swinging...
The absolutely STUPID mistakes these guys make at this level is mind boggling...

And that's with context of the Vegas series. |
