Donskoi gives you clean patches of ice wherever he fell. He's a human mini Zamboni... I was just telling my son, Donskoi skates like he's drunk that is when he can stay on his skates I think Donskoi can skate and play pretty well, as long as nobody's near him. It just doesn't take much to knock him on his ass. You have to be able to stay on your feet to really be effective on the ice. It's a difficult game but it's magnitudes more difficult trying to play while you're laying on the ice. |

Though I probably pick Haley to sit if Pavs can go tonight, you're right about Sorensen. His game is about speed but it's not that high-end speed or speed with the puck that shows up against fast, quick, teams like the Golden Knights and Avalanche. So you're telling me he's useless. The Sharks have to address the players that fail in the playoffs. Not useless so much as not conducive to the style San Jose should play against Colorado. If their defense was slower Sorensen would be an absolute threat in behind opening space for the other forwards in the vacated space. Colorado has a much more mobile defense which negates pretty much the only asset Sorensen offers. TRO |
