Missed most of the game because of cjelliko's LL one (win 13-11, cjelliko 2 walks). But I was on for the last 15 minutes... The Sharks really made it hard.
I want to wish the Colorado Tankers the same bright future people prophesied for them in 2013, with the great core of ROR, Duchene, Stastny, Landeskog, MacKinnon and E. Johnson, with the veteran presence of Tanguay and with the budding goaltending prospect Calvin Pickard.

Martin Jones is now 3-0 in Game 7, and only the eighth goalie in NHL history to win his first three Game 7 appearances.

Noticed Danville is now 2-0 with game 7 GDTs this spring. Take that, pete DeBoer and tommy ivan. plus he bails out marbles on his game 6 thread debacle.. additionally he promotes beer drinking in general. He can start EVERY fucking GDT in round three far as I’m concerned..

During the 3rd period I was bought 2 beers by a VP trying to offer me a job.
Post 3rd period we did 2 more beers with a lady from Washington that will ultimately end up as MLL (abandoned after tequila). Got 2 free tequila shots at a side bar plying the trade with fucking New Yorkers that literally work for Coco Chanel.
In the end -
Paid drinks - 2 Free drinks - 4 Sharks wins - 1
I'll allow it.

Congrats to the Avs for keeping it classy, including the post-series interviews. Huge difference from the garbage knights. Glad the Sharks beat the Avs this year, they probably won't be able to next year.

This entire series was better. We got to watch hockey whereas the series against Vegas was more like a bunch of MMA thugs beating on Sharks players so they would not be able to handle the puck. I love the outcome of the Vegas series, but it was crap hockey. The officials were simply unable to call every infraction (holding and interference in particular) against a Vegas team where every Knights player on the ice at almost any given time is committing a penalty...and that's how Vegas "wins."
And Gallant is a dick.

Great win by the Sharks last night. It was great after Pav's scored and they panned to him on the bench and he acknowledged the fans with a fist pump. Hell yeah. Already secured my tickets for Round 3 Game 1. Bring on the Blues. And for fK sake I hope I never hear that damn bell when the games are in St Louis. Hate that bell.

Sharknado Stanley Cup? Sharks vs Canes. I'd prefer to see Sharks vs Boston so Jumbo can really have revenge and hoist the trophy.

Didn't go back in the thread but yes loved the win (naturally). hated the 3rd period.
Boo hoo he was/wasn't offsides. Hey toronto said yes he was. So out of ref's hands at the current game.
You know the biased broadcast is bad when my wife who doesn't watch the game as intense as I do and when she is on her phone goes "can they suck Mckinnon's dick any harder?!"

from Curtis Pashelka of the Mercury News,
The Sharks didn’t need a miraculous comeback Wednesday. They just had to hold on.
And after the drama that unfolded at SAP Center two weeks ago, the Sharks had another heart-stopper in Game 7 of their second round series against the Colorado Avalanche.
They found a way once again.
Joe Pavelski had a goal and an assist in his return to the lineup and Joonas Donskoi’s first goal since Jan. 8 proved to the game-winner as the Sharks beat the Avalanche 3-2 to win the series four-games-to-three and advance to the Western Conference final for the second time in four years.
The Sharks will face the St. Louis Blues, the same team they faced in the 2016 Western Conference final, in the third round in a series that will begin Saturday in San Jose.
Left for dead when they were in this same position two weeks ago against the Vegas Golden Knights, down three goals in Game 7 after being down 3-1 in the series, the Sharks are now halfway to their goal of bringing a Stanley Cup to San Jose.
“Excitement,” Sharks center Logan Couture said of getting back to this stage. “There’s four teams still playing and there’s 27 teams at home wishing they were in these spots. I’ve been lucky enough to play in a few Western Conference finals in my career and you realize that you can’t take them for granted because you never know when the next one’s going to come.
