I'd like to see the defensive zone play tighten up, but that's nothing new. I'll take the W and open another bottle of wine. Cheers y'all!

Not bad considering the live hand grenade puck handling and the bs officiating. The latter isn't something that they can do anything about. Control the puck, control the game. Get Jones a triple espresso or something. That goal against was a little weak. Protect the lead, pucks out, pucks deep. A solid forecheck can grind out another goal or two. Eliminate stupidity. The positive I see is they were able to forecheck their way into sustained pressure a few times. St. Louis is taking penalties (and if refs start calling cleaner this series really changes) and their goalie has so far looked solidly beatable. I'm not liking the lack of push back on the physical play. Meier is about the only guy hitting (his small push in the nz lead to a goal). Kane needs to get on his horse and I'd like to see even Hertl and Burns throwing their ass around. Too bad the Sharks don't have a Owen Nolan & Dave Lowery type players like when Sutter had them pound Pronger & the St.Louis Defense back in the day in the playoff's really goy under Prongers skin & he took dumb penalties. Hit #27 & #55 every chance they get

You didn't pay your bill? Maybe. It’s back on. Usually some idiot can’t keep their car on the road and take out a pole. It friggin happens at least once a year with the same symptoms. I expect I’ll see PG&E replacing a pole tomorrow morning. Don't hold your breath on P.G& E doing anything that costs money. They will raise your rates for that pole

Pete best be careful who is on the ice at the end of this game. YES, Please NO Braun/Ryan pairing with Thornton He's to Slow & soft on clearing attempts. This trio is going to give me a heart attack watching them trying to get the puck out of the zone

Timo is 22 years old...that was a pretty impressive playoff game for a 22 year old. Agreed. He’s been consistently playing well in all 3 rounds. Even when he just couldn’t get it in the net, he’s been dangerous. I’m hoping he has Binnington’s number this whole round!

Multi-year (5+?), $5-$6 Mil per year range. should get almost Evander Kane money. Timo making $940k this season, what a steal.
This is the real test - Meier has not faded away as playoffs intensify. Impressive growth season, and yea he's 22. also recall his left wrist is still banged up too from falling in last game of regular season.

I guess you didn't see Kane knock him on his Rear end last night. I don't care how big Paryko is,the bigger they are the easier they fall. Keep pounding their defense & they will start looking over their shoulders & commit turnovers. Meier,Hertl,Kane aren't little boys

Hertl, Cooch, Timo, Burns, maybe even Pavs. Plus solid support play from Karlsson, Pickles, the 4th line, the 3rd line. Really makes this team difficult to fully contain. Even with the weak d I sense we can take this series. Boston will be something different and our regular season matchups don't inspire much confidence.

And from Vegas hacking at his wrist repeatedly for 7 games...

Whatever happens, the Sharks have a core of guys who can carry this team for awhile and seeing them be elite in the playoffs is awesome.
