Hertl was brutal tonight. Jumbo, brutal. Meier, brutal. Kane (unsurprisingly), brutal. Is Pavelski having a concussion relapse? Is he playing tonight? We've had maybe 3 or 4 guys going tonight? Bad recipe when you top it all off with fucktard officiating. Another well-earned playoff loss... How do you take a playoff game off?

Good fucking grief... the NHL absolutely MUST address the officiating before the next season. I know there's no chance of that happening this season. It's not bloody likely to happen next season either. That call on Kane was atrocious! The league will address the officiating once someone gets seriously injured.

Either Jumbo hasn't had his skates sharpened in 10 years or he's hurt. Guy can't stay up for anything. He's just old.

If Jumbo stays and is paid more than the minimum, it's a waste.

It also bothers me that the Bruins and their little RAT Marchand have a 2-0 series lead right now and they're up due to his completely embarassing on-ice antics. I wish someone would just knock his teeth in.

Thornton needs to hang the skates up

Thornton and his line better pick it up. They've no-showed for a few now. Can't happen at this stage. If I'm DeBoer I might consider a change with Sorensen, he's just not doing anything.
Hertl and Kane didn't do much either. For all of his beast play, Hertl really doesn't respond well to the game getting taken to him and I cannot recall the last time he even hit a guy. He's a physical player no doubt but he's not mean and nasty and when the game gets that way I don't think he replies well.

Just absolutely brutal. This has the appearance of the worst fix job in sports. These clowns should be fired immediately and never work in hockey again. Maybe they can get a gig with FIFA. Better yet, amateur diving... The call on Sorenson was even worse. Edmundson reaches out to touch Sorenson and then dives and they call interference. Yeah, I saw it. Had it not been the Sharks I would've just turned the TV off. As soon as the Sharks are done so am I. I've got other things to do rather than waste my time watching WWE-like bullshit. The product is garbage.

Not for that reason anyway. Guys have had their throats sliced open and they don't enforce wearing neck guards. Players, not NHL players, have been paralyzed from getting driven headfirst into the boards and they still allow hits from behind. No, it won't be a physical injury. It'll be a financial injury that might trigger some change. The NHL isn't about the game anymore, it's about the bottom line.

Bortuzzo probably feeling confident after leveling Sorensen twice to walk past Thornton and put the moves up to score a beauty like that. Sorensen needs to do a better job of not putting himself in position to get laid out. Not issue with taking a hit to make a play but both times Sorensen strolled into the hit for no discernible benefit. Those hits were a tad high imo... nevertheless, Sorensen has to know better! I missed the first where it sounds likenthe worst stuff happened. With that said, that super weak tripping call that led to LoCo's goal was really bad. Like Sorrenson did everything in his power to avoid a knee on knee, avoid the trip, avoid all contact, but the feet clipped and the dude took a tumble. Weak shit.

Game one of this series Jumbo left the ice to go to the locker room. It was never explained. Could have Ben equipment issue or to take a pee but maybe injury concern.

The league should send out apology letters to all playoff teams before the playoffs start. Vlasic is still waiting for the missed icing call against the Avs & the cross check he took in game 1 that led to a Blues goal. Last night was a joke as well.

DeBoer got out coached last night. The Blue's stood up at their blue line 3 across and stopped any entry. They know if the Sharks play dump and chase, that the odds of me winning the lottery are better then any of the Blue's Defenseman getting hit on a dump and chase scenario, very easy for them to retrieve the puck and start the breakout. EK9 is almost non existent.
