Dillon two-handed shoving people like it's peewee hockey. Hertl hitting the ice every time he gets pushed. Congrats guys, you're getting pushed around by an all-Euro fourth line.
Pathetic.

Welcome to the San Jose Arena home of the San Jose No-Shows. I don't know why the announcers are saying the crowd is stunned, NO THEY ARE USED TO THIS BULL CRAP FOR THE SHARKS IN A BIG GAME... The Sharks are being out played in every facet of the game & stopped by a rookie goalie... Paging Pavelski,Kane & Hertl no points 5 on 5 & getting outplayed by St.Louis 4TH Line...

Tough pass but Dillon didn't even try to do anything with it... Dillon didn't even attempt to play the puck with his skates maybe he's afraid to get hit..Like you said in your last game post Dillon his not to bright

Sharks aren't coming back in this series. They refuse to hit, they cannot play defense. Thornton will retire cupless. Sharks are out of gas and are at the end of their rope. Blues in 6. I want to say they still have a chance after witnessing that Vegas series but they actually played fairly good hockey after being 3-1 down where as here they just look completely gassed. I've lost hope.

I think we are finally getting Kane and Thornton. The game that killed this team was game 2, after the Sharks tied the game with the only player doing anything(Couture) Thornton craps all over himself in the d zone & lets a 5-6 dman beat him for the winning goal....This team is soft & has no balls/Killer instinc

They pull up every time they see a hit coming.
You can argue the merits of physical hockey against speed and skill but for the Sharks, they clearly fold up more than power through when they're faced with a team that's going to skate right at them and not turn away.
It's been one of the constant flaws of this team throughout the Doug Wilson era.

There's the series in a nutshell...Pavs has to make a simple turn, nobody anywhere near him, and he falls down. Are. You. Fucking. Shitting. Me?!?! Much like this team, I'm out. I'm done for today. The series ends in St. Louis. Nobody on this team should ever, EVER, utter another word about desire to win a Cup. They don't walk the talk.

That play by Nyquist is a good microcosm of this game and this Sharks team as a whole. Gets the puck in high percentage area. Can turn and shoot but would get challenged physically by defender. Opts instead for behind the back pass to a teammate who's not ready and can't handle it. Pretty if it works, turnover if it doesn't.
Another thing I've noticed today is how poorly they're handling the puck. No one can hold it for more than two seconds and there haven't been many crisp passes, given or taken.

Some of this is that St. Louis is now really pressuring, but I agree they started this game in a funk handling the puck like a fucking grenade.
