Parros is a former division rival Duck...fuck the NHL! I'll get my hockey elsewhere after this season. I'll also avoid NHL sponsors as best as possible...fuck 'em for supporting this bullshit league! I’m really enjoying the IIHF tourney. The USA is doing well. Its a really fast and open game but still has a little hitting. I've watched some IIHF as well. There are options. If need be, I'll drive to the nearest rink and watch kids play. That's where the true passion for the game lives... |

I’m really enjoying the IIHF tourney. The USA is doing well. Its a really fast and open game but still has a little hitting. I've watched some IIHF as well. There are options. If need be, I'll drive to the nearest rink and watch kids play. That's where the true passion for the game lives... I reached where you are at a couple years ago. The Barracuda have filled my hockey void. Yes, it’s the Sharks organization, but it’s a good value and much more about the game than the pomp and circumstance the NHL has become. |

Jones coming up in the first round and maintaining a high level of play was huge but he's had some bad goals throughout too. I feel much better about him in net next year than I did against Vegas. I think they need to retool the forwards and potentially figure out an option on D to replace Karlsson. With Simek back the d is actually fine but I'm not sure you keep Karlsson with his glass cock.Glass cock is the name of my Steely Dan cover band.  |

After the 2004-05 NHL season was cancelled because of money hungry bitching, I dropped my Sharks tickets and bought tickets for the newly founded Stockton Thunder ECHL franchise. Brand new rink with a brand new team only 20+ miles from home. Lower bowl corner seats were $11 for row 7. Four seats for less than one in SJ. It was fantastic! Because I was coaching in Stockton, I was able to meet and work with the Thunder staff and players. One of the player's sons and my son became teammates and friends. The organization was great with the local kids. I missed it a ton when I left the area. I'll likely take in a few AHL games in Stockton next season. Maybe... |

When Fresno State built the new Save Mart Center the Falcons made the mistake of moving to the new arena. When they were downtown in Selland you could park on the streets around the arena for free and get tickets for cheap as well. At Save Mart Center you can't park anywhere near the arena for free and the lot charges $10.00 to park. Throw that on top of the ticket prices going up as well and instead of getting into the game for maybe $15 you were looking at $20-$30 to go to the game. It destroyed their attendance. |

He is the one who came up with the NBA's salary cap. The story is the NHL approached Stern to become commissioner and he turned it down and recommended Bettman. |
