Choking is underachieving. Sharks have underachieved a lot in the past. This year, I'm pretty sure it was 50/50 on people thinking they'd out of the first round so... Until they win it all, that label will follow them. Hate to say this, But the Sharks are the Buffalo Bills of hockey. The Atlanta Braves won 1 World Series during their great run Bill Burr the comedian called the Sharks the San Diego Chargers of the NHL a few years ago and it fits pretty well. Great regular seasons to get the fan base excited only to disappoint in the playoffs. |
