The transcripts report King, an icon of the Civil Rights era, taking part in orgies, coercing women into performing sex acts upon his friends, and laughing as he watches a fellow minister rape a parishioner. In 1977, a court embargoed tapes of the FBI’s surveillance until 2027. There is no reason to doubt the accuracy of the transcripts. Also in 1977, a report from the Justice Department’s Office of Professional Responsibility confirmed that the transcripts faithfully reflect the recordings.
Garrow’s article is harrowing to read, and must lead to reconsideration of King’s character. In Las Vegas, King takes part in group sex with the Gospel singer Clara Ward, an unnamed male friend, and a 28-year-old prostitute named Gail LaRue, a mother to four children who describes the evening as ‘the worst orgy I’ve ever gone through’.
I don’t wonder at all, I know the answer. They will attack anyone who tries to report this as a racist, hate speech spewing bigot...doesn’t matter if its true or not. The liberal media will run cover for MLK just like they’re doing for Biden today after he got caught plagiarizing...again. The problem it's a transcript of existing tapes. No wonder they tried to bury it first.

Corruption and power? Who knew?
House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings' wife reportedly paid her for-profit organization with money from her separate charity as part of a cost-sharing arrangement -- a revelation that is adding to mounting ethical questions surrounding her financial dealings.
The Daily Caller obtained documents showing that Maya Rockeymoore Cummings’ charity, the Center for Global Policy Solutions (CGPS), paid over $250,000 between 2013 and 2015 to her similarly named for-profit organization, Global Policy Solutions LLC (GPS).
The documents outline a cost-sharing agreement by which the center shares "equipment, facilities, personnel costs and sundry other services.” But the center also pays GPS 5 percent of the center’s expenses for “managing its programs and operations.”
The Caller calculated those management fees to be over $250,000.
Rockeymoore Cummings also sits as chair of the Maryland Democratic Party, while Rep. Cummings, D-Md., is currently heading up a number of probes into President Trump’s conduct -- including Trump’s tax returns. Cummings' office did not respond to a request for comment from Fox News.

The so called media thinks people believe them.
A top editor from The New York Times declared the paper is not “anti-Trump” on Thursday despite the Gray Lady’s own staffers recognizing its liberal reputation.
“We are in no way anti-Trump,” deputy managing editor Rebecca Blumenstein said at the Financial Times’ Future of News event, according to reporters in attendance.
Media Research Center vice president Dan Gainor called it “the nation's most liberal paper,” while conservative strategist Chris Barron lampooned the situation entirely.
“Has anyone from the New York Times actually read the New York Times? If they want to avoid the appearance of overt partisanship they might try taking a look in the mirror first,” Barron said.

A Florida woman told police that she stabbed herself in the stomach with a kitchen knife because, “I’m tired of living in Trump’s country, I’m tired of Trump being president.”
Cops found the 46-year-old woman standing outside her residence in Palmetto Sunday, according to a police report. She had blood all over her legs, hands, and face, a cop noted.

In a key finding of the Mueller report, Ukrainian businessman Konstantin Kilimnik, who worked for Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, is tied to Russian intelligence.
But hundreds of pages of government documents — which special counsel Robert Mueller possessed since 2018 — describe Kilimnik as a “sensitive” intelligence source for the U.S. State Department who informed on Ukrainian and Russian matters.
Why Mueller’s team omitted that part of the Kilimnik narrative from its report and related court filings is not known. But the revelation of it comes as the accuracy of Mueller’s Russia conclusions face increased scrutiny.

Rep. Jim Himes, D-Conn., blamed his "lizard brain" on Thursday for wanting bad things to happen to President Trump.
He made those comments on CNN where host Wolf Blitzer asked him whether, like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., he wanted to see Trump "in prison."
"More than anything else," he told Blitzer. "This isn't about my feelings or about retribution. Look, the lizard brain that I have says I hope bad things happen to this man because he has been so destructive to our Republic, to the concept of democracy, to the concept that internationally we are a light unto the nations."

Another prophet
Of course the Eastern peoples are highly susceptible to the gifts of civilization; they will exchange their beautiful jugs for enamel kettles and their carpets for horrible wallpaper. But they’ve retained something peculiar to themselves. What European though he may be thrice a believer — never mind in what: the Pope’s shoe, world progress, or those delightful Soviets — will so much as scratch himself with a pin in the name of an idea? But these men — not only those in the street, but the delegates too, or rather both together — would be only too pleased to do a nice big Day Of Ashura on a world scale, not only on their own foreheads, of course, but on many others as well; British ones first, by choice, and then ... Of course an engine is a pretty complicated thing. Your Persian wouldn’t know how to build one, but he’s perfectly able to destroy it, and not without pleasure.
I. Ehrenburg, Julio Jurenito, 1922

So Al Gore was right? You should buy a sea-side villa without a worry?
Officials at Glacier National Park (GNP) have begun quietly removing and altering signs and government literature which told visitors that the Park’s glaciers were all expected to disappear by either 2020 or 2030. In recent years the National Park Service prominently featured brochures, signs and films which boldly proclaimed that all glaciers at GNP were melting away rapidly. But now officials at GNP seem to be scrambling to hide or replace their previous hysterical claims while avoiding any notice to the public that the claims were inaccurate. Teams from Lysander Spooner University visiting the Park each September have noted that GNP’s most famous glaciers such as the Grinnell Glacier and the Jackson Glacier appear to have been growing—not shrinking—since about 2010. (The Jackson Glacier—easily seen from the Going-To-The-Sun Highway—may have grown as much as 25% or more over the past decade.)

A biological male who identifies as a woman won an NCAA national championship over Memorial Day weekend.
Franklin Pierce University runner CeCe Telfer won the Division II women’s 400-meter hurdles on Saturday night, besting the second-place finisher by more than a second.
“Telfer is the first student-athlete in Franklin Pierce history to collect an individual national title,” the New Hampshire school announced.
When the hongweibings squeeze the organizers to pump up the prizes in women sports, this will mightily accelerate.

Well, not so new, the Crook employed it more than twenty years ago:
Women have always been the primary victims of war. Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat.
But it was echoed recently by a Rwandan politician:
The genocide in Rwanda is a far-reaching tragedy that has taken a particularly hard toll on women. They now comprise 70 percent of the population, since the genocide chiefly exterminated the male population.
And as usual, there's a Soviet joke the left is so keen to implement:
A father is pacing nervously waiting for his wife to give birth. He's all wobbly and shaky, and his voice is trembling. Finally, the doctor enters the room, congratulating the father, "You've got a daughter!" "Thanks God", replies the father, "She won't have to go through what I have gone now."

A great day in history, let this be one of many:
Oberlin College in Ohio will have to pay a nearby bakery more than $11 million in damages because it libeled the store, tagging it as racist, and interfered with its business, a jury said on Friday.
Gibson's Bakery came under fire after Allyn Gibson, the owners' son, got into a physical altercation with a black student who reportedly tried shoplifting and using a fake ID at the store, The Chronicle-Telegram said. Two other black students got involved, appearing to prompt accusations of racial profiling.
The three students eventually pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges and read statements defending Allyn Gibson's right to detain them. They also read statements claiming that his actions weren't racially motivated, but within days of the incident, students were turning out for protests fueled by accusations of racist intent.
The jury found the school and Oberlin's vice president and dean of students, Meredith Raimondo, guilty of libel after Raimondo allegedly helped pass out flyers claiming that the bakery was "racist" and had a history of "racial profiling and discrimination."
The jury also found that the college (not Raimondo) was guilty of intentional infliction of emotional distress for the owner, David Gibson, as well as libel and intentional infliction of emotional distress on his son.

Will the so called media report on this story?
John Diepersloot squinted under a bright Central Valley sun, pointing to the damage to his fruit orchard that came with the California bullet train.
He lost 70 acres of prime land. Rail contractors left mounds of rubble along his neat rows. Irrigation hoses are askew. A sophisticated canopy system for a kiwi field, supported by massive steel cables, was torn down.
But what really irritates Diepersloot is the $250,000 that he paid out of his own pocket for relocating wells, removing trees, building a road and other expenses.
“I am out a quarter-million bucks on infrastructure, and they haven’t paid a dime for a year,” he said. “I don’t have that kind of money.”
Up and down the San Joaquin Valley, farmers have similar stories. The state can take land with a so-called order of possession by the Superior Court while it haggles over the price.
But farmers often face out-of-pocket costs for lost production, road replacement, repositioning of irrigation systems and other expenses, which the state agrees to pay before the final settlement.
Those payments and even some payments for land have stretched out to three years. State officials have offered endless excuses for not paying, the farmers say.
Eminent domain, the legal process by which government takes private land, is complicated enough, particularly in California with a maze of agencies involved. But the rail authority’s constantly changing plans, thin state staff and reliance on outside attorneys have made it more difficult, some say.
“They are bogged down,” said Mark Wasser, an eminent domain attorney in Sacramento who has represented more than 70 farmers and other businesses losing land to the rail project. “I would draw an analogy to Napoleon’s invasion of Russia.”

When will this once great state wake up? Not bashing individual teachers as I know some who are teaching for the rights reasons...but the teachers union influence in Sacramento is one of the big problems in California right now. Also, I had no idea that Herschel Walker was a racist, hate spewing bigot...
